Export volumes of 50 tractors in 1996-97, Escorts export has grown to 2700 tractors in 2000-05 and
6000 tractors in 2010-2011. The company is targeting exports of about 10000 tractors by 2014.
Over 5000 tractors have been exported to the USA in the last three years.

Farmtrac population has grown to 1,000 nos in Ghana

In Senegal, it successfully executed an order of 410 Farmtrac tractors.

Three & Four cylinder Powertrac & Farmtrac engines are high powered and fuel
efficient.
Ribbed cylinder block in Farmtrac provides strength.
Engines with helical air intake passage and re-entrant combustion chamber helps in
optimum combustion resulting in higher cylinder pressure.
Short stroke and large bore (over square engine) permits fast recovery from lugging
condition.
Square engine with same bore and stroke size results in more power at short piston
travel thereby less wear and tear & longer engine life
Heavy and counter-balanced crank shaft for strength and durability.

Line loss was as high as 18 %.
High break down on TDM-01, VFB-01, SFB-01, HMC-11, HMC-12, HMC-19, HMC-20 machines.

High setup losses on VMD-10 & VMD-05.

IMPROVEMENTS (KAIZEN)
Limit Switch Provided

No Limit Switch

Earlier movement of all spindles were being controlled with

one limit switch only. Due to failure of the limit switch all
cartridge used to jamming on VMD-07.

Now an extra limit switch has been put, if earlier limit

switch fails, new limit switch avoids jamming of cartridge &
resulting in reduced breakdown time.
