With OPN Specialized, Oracle Partners have the opportunity to earn specialized status for a particular focus area, by meeting globally
consistent business and competency criteria that are specific to each specialization. Partners can choose to specialize from a wide range of
solutions from Oracles growing product portfolio.
The Specialization Catalog offers a consolidated view of all qualifying specializations launched and planned as part of the OPN Specialized
Program. Partners can apply for qualifying specializations when all accreditations and certification exams are in production. Additionally, the
catalog reflects the non-qualifying specializations which are no longer eligible for Specialization Benefits and will not count towards the criteria
for Platinum or Diamond membership status.

Non-Qualifying Specializations
On June 29, 2012, Oracle announced the enhancement to the Specialization program that enables specialization by product
version. This enhancement affects OPN program benefits and level attainment. Please read the detailed Product Version
Specialization FAQ.
Only the most current product version Specialization, or Qualifying Specialization, will qualify for Specialization Benefits. While
the newer Specialization is launched, the older product version Specialization is supported for a limited transition period of time.
As Non-Qualifying Specializations remain valid, they are no longer eligible for Specialization Benefits and will not count towards
the criteria for Platinum or Diamond membership status.

Retired Specializations
Oracle may retire Specializations. When a Specialization is retired, it will be identified as either:
1. a non-qualifying Specialization, meaning that it remains a valid Specialization, but is no longer eligible for Specialization Benefits and
will not count towards the criteria for Platinum or Diamond membership status; or
2. an expired Specialization that is no longer valid.
