Petrochemical Plant News:-

Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical has restarted its Polypropylene (PP) Plant after maintenance. The Plant is
located in China with the production capacity of 200,000 Tons/Year.
China Qingdao Haijing, a major producer of Petrochemicals intends to start trial runs at its new Complex for
the production of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) in July 2016. The Complex is

Tons/Year of VCM.
China's Xuzhou Haitian has shut its Polypropylene (PP) Line for maintenance. The Line is located at Jiangsu
province with the production capacity of 200,000 Tons/Year.
South Korea based Hanwha Chemical is operating its Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), Vinyl Chloride Monomer
(VCM) and Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Units at 100% of production capacity rates. The Complex is located at
Ningbo in Zhejiang province of China with the EDC production capacity of 500,000 MT/Year, VCM of 300,000
MT/Year and PVC of 300,000 MT/Year.
SP Chemicals has shut its Styrene Monomer (SM) Plant last weekend for maintenance of one week. The Plant
is located in Jiangsu province, China with the production capacity of 320,000 MT/Year.
Ineos Styrolution has restarted its Styrene Plant late last week after maintenance which was shut in early May
2016. The Plant is located at Sarnia, Canada with the production capacity of 431,000 MT/Year.
Hanbang Petrochemical has delayed the restart of its No. 2 Polyethylene Terephthalic Acid (PTA) Unit. The
Unit is located at Jiangsu province, China with the production capacity of 2.2 Million MT/Year.
NOVA Chemicals intends to upgrade its Cracker at Corunna, Ontario in Canada to increase the use of Ethanefeed up to 100% in 2017. The Cracker has Ethylene production capacity of 839,000 Tons/Year and currently it
is used to feed a mixture of Ethane, Propane and Butane, as well as a small amount of Naphtha.

Miscellaneous News:Blooming Faith Petroleum Limited, a subsidiary of Blooming Faith Global Holdings Limited intends to construct
a Refinery with Nigerian Government. The Refinery will be located in the coastal state of Akwa Ibom with the
processing capacity of 200, 000 b/d.
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is planning to restart transporting of Oil to Iran this month after a four-year
gap.
Uganda Invited SK Engineering & Construction for $4 billion Refinery Project. The Refinery will have
production capacity of 60,000 b/d and will also include 205 KiloMeter Oil products Pipeline.
Unipetrol RPA SRO and PKN Orlen have signed separate agreements with OJSC Rosneft Oil Co. and PJSC
Tatneft to supply Russian Crude Oil by mid-2019 to 5.4 Million Tons/Year Refinery in Litvinov, Czech Republic.
