Democracy: (from the Greek demos, the people; kratein, to rule) a political system in

which the people of a country rule through any form of government they choose to establish
Democracy is the best way to meet the diverse needs of the people

Rule of Law: People must follow to the same laws, These laws are known, predictable and
relevant for the people.

Political Equality: People has the right to vote or run for office publicly.

Common Good: People should be responsible, respect one another, caring and work for the
common good.

Personal Freedom: People has the rights to do their personal freedom like freedom of
religion and freedom of expression.

Human Dignity: Upholding dignity and protection of all people.

Political Freedom: People can speak freely, form associations, work jobs or office and vote
without being intimidated.

Being Informed and getting involved: People should be informed and participate in issues
that affect their country, community, province, nation and the world.

Respect: People should respect the rights of one another.
