LTO REGISTRATION PROCESS
1. Proceed to the transaction counters and submit the
documents above to the evaluator so they can compute the
fees.
2. There will be an inspection of the motor vehicle and
submission of the filled out MVIR.
3. Pay the fees and obtain the official receipt at the cashier
when your name is called.
4. Get your certificate of registration, plates, stickers, and other
documents at the releasing counter when your name is
called. And youre done!
An LTO memorandum bans four-wheeled vehicles from being on
the road without a valid registration.
Vehicles without a license plate will be stopped and drivers will be
asked to present the Certificate of Registration and the Official
Receipt of the vehicle. If you do not have the OR/ CR, you have to
present the certificate of stock reported, sales invoice, or
certificate of insurance cover. You can be fined PHP 5,000 if you
have not attached your plate but have presented the OR/ CR.
Youll be fined PHP 10,000 if you fail to present neither the OR/ CR
or the alternate documents.
