Session Chair(s):
Dr. M. Bhanu Sridhar, GVP College of Engineering for Women, Vizag, AP
Dr. D. N. D. Harini, GVP College of Engineering, Vizag, AP

Theme of Session:
The Internet of Things (IoT) is on its way to become the next technological
revolution. The concerned devices will include more than just smart phones and
tablets. Cars, homes, industries, cities, health informatics, sensors, and nearly
anything will be inter-connected in the emerging IoT era. The devices can be
connected to the network using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or any another technology,
but must be able to send messages to a receiver using some well-defined
protocol. With a heave of these devices, there comes a virtual explosion of data.
The data should be aggregated from these multiple sources of IoT in
conjunction with various sensor technologies to unearth valuable and beneficial
data. As obtainable data becomes more complex and extensive, intertwining it
into an engaging outset of technologies to map with IoT data is the challenge
before the researchers. The question here is not only the mapping, but also
networks, storage, and computing power. All will be impacted and proper
planning is needed to take care of this new type of data. Thus Big Data has
presented yet another angle of research work over which research is surely
interesting. Taking all these aspects into consideration, this session aims to
devote time on these blazing topics of the IT field and invites the researchers to
present their innovative papers to lend a hand to find solutions to problems of
these inter-related areas.

Topics of Interest:
We invite original (un-published) research contributions based on the above mentioned theme including
following topics but not limited to:
Computer Vision
