INTELLECTUAL PRPPERTY RIGHTS

PROJECT TOPICS
1. Every student shall submit original work. Maximum Text similarity for qualifying project evaluation is
twenty five per cent. In case of more than twenty five per cent, for every increase two per cent one mark
will be deducted.( Example- if total text similarity would be 35 per cent then 35-25=10. Here 10 per cent
is increased limit and one mark for every two per cent will be deducted so 10/2=5 marks will be
deducted.)
2. If any part of the project (even single sentence or minimum eight consecutive words) will be a part of
any other source without providing reference of that source, the whole project will be rejected. In case of
plagiarism of any extent (1-100)% , zero marks will be awarded without giving an opportunity of
repeat for project. Any kind of plagiarism report will not be communicated to students or Examination
Department. The Course teacher will only communicate the awarded mark to the Examination
Department.
3. Final Submission must be according to guideline provided in Examination Manual. For every mistake
0.5 marks will be deducted.
4. The project format is attached here. Final submission should be according to this format only
otherwise it will result into penalty.

5. Footnotes must not be less than 80 from different sources in a project. All paraphrased
sentences must have foot notes otherwise it would amount as plagiarised contents.
