REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO COMMENCE WITH A BIDDING

PROCESS FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER
TO PROVIDE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR DPP
LIMPOPO FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS.

1.

PURPOSE

1.1.

The purpose of this memorandum is to request approval to commence

with a bid process for the appointment of a service provider to provide
facilities management services for the office of DPP Limpopo.

2.

BACKGROUND

2.1

The DPP: Limpopo submitted a request for the procurement of facilities

management services for a period of three (3) years. (Request enclosed
as Annexure A).

CONTRACT DURATION

A three (3) years contract is required.

4.

BID PUBLICATION

4.1

A bid invitation/ advert will be published on Government Tender Bulletin,

National Prosecuting Authority Website and E-tender (National Treasury
Portal).

5.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS

5.1

Funds will be made available by the office of the DPP: Limpopo budget
in the 2016/17 financial year.

6.

RECOMMENDATION

6.1

It is recommended that approval be granted to commence with a bidding

process for the appointment of a service provider to provide facilities
management services for the office of DPP Limpopo for a period of three
(3) years.
