Symptoms

SAP Control Center 3.3 offers monitoring and administration capabilities for SAP database
Products.
Sybase Control Center is a server application that uses a Web-browser-based client to deliver
an integrated solution for monitoring and managing Sybase products.
Sybase Control Center provides a single comprehensive Web administration console for real-time
performance, status, and availability monitoring of large-scale Sybase enterprise servers. Sybase
Control Center combines a modular architecture, a rich client administrative console, agents,
common services, and tools for managing and controlling Sybase products. It includes historical
monitoring, threshold-based alerts and notifications, alert-based script execution, and intelligent
tools for identifying performance and usage trends.

Prerequisites
For adequate performance, the SAP Control Center server machine must have at least
two 2.4GHz processors and 4GB RAM.
Flash Player must be installed .
Browser Firfox should be updated .

Solutions

A. Download SAP Control Center

Go to the SAP Software Download Center at service.sap.com
Follow Below Path
Software Downloads > Installations & Upgrades > Browse Download catalog

Before configure ASE Server we have to add local host name in given path
drivers > system > etc > hostname

 Click on setup :
Click on Install Licensed copy of SAP Control Center

C. Configuring Adaptive Server for Monitoring

Login user name : sccadmin

Perspective Resource :
We can add new perspective or set resource in default .

Registering an Adaptive Server

In the Resource Explorer, select Resources > Register

Resource Type
Resource Name : (Required) Name of the resource to register. Enter the actual
name of the server,
Resource type : Select ASE Server

Connection Information :

ASE Host Name : Local host name of system

ASE Port Number : Local host port number

Enter a user name and password that SCC can use to authenticate with this resource to
retrieve its software version

D. Authenticate Server :

Without authenticate it will show a unknown status

Note : Use same user name of password which you have used on before authentication tab

Select Register Resource > click on pin > Authenticate >Enter ASE user name
and password
