Student learning outcomes with the Joint Decision material in class V SDN
2 Cempaka Banjarbaru still low. The results of students' academic year 2014/2015
is only 62.50% of the students in the classical and known also tend to last three
years the school has not reached KKM 68. This is because learning is only
oriented towards knowledge transfer purposes only and are taught just
conceptually possible so that students can not be actively involved in learning
activities and learning model that is less varied/interesting for students. Therefore,
efforts should be made using a combination models of Mind Mapping, Numbered
Head Together (NHT), and Word Square. The purpose of this research to
determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Joint Decision
material, using a combination models of Mind Mapping, Numbered Head
Together (NHT), and Word Square in class V SDN 2 Cempaka Banjarbaru.
This research is a Classroom Action Research that is conducted in two
cycles, each cycle conducted two meetings. The data collection is done by the
written tests and observations of teachers and students of class V SDN 2 Cempaka
Banjarbaru with totaling 26 students, consisting of 15 boys and 11 girls.
Based on the results of this research concluded that the application of a
combination models of Mind Mapping, Numbered Head Together (NHT), and
Word Square can improve students learning outcomes on Joint Decree material in
class V SDN 2 Cempaka Banjarbaru.
Based on the findings in this research suggested to the teacher to be able to
use a combination of learning models Mind Mapping, Numbered Head Together
(NHT), and Word Square as an alternative to improve student learning, increase
student activity, as well as improve the quality of teaching on each of elementary
school.
