Corporate Profile 2014

Top Message
To help our customers create values in their businesses
In February 2012, we, Fuji Xerox, celebrated our 50th anniversary, starting down on a fresh
path toward the next 50 years. At this important milestone in our history, we will go back to
the basics and step up our efforts to continue to be a trusted partner for customers in the
areas of the Document Services and Communications.
Since our establishment, we have followed our basic philosophy of helping customers
and society foster mutual understanding through better communications. Fifty years ago,
we revolutionized office work with Xerography; the technology that allows duplicating
information on paper. We have not only established an innovative business model focusing
on a rental serviceproviding utility rather than providing devices, but also offered a wide
range of products and services to support customers in communications and creating values.
With recent diversification and globalization taking place in businesses and ever growing
competition, improvement in work processes is required for faster decision-making. Times
have changed in terms of doing business; companies are now collaborating with each other
to move a project forward rather than handling everything themselves. It is becoming
increasingly crucial to distribute and share information rapidly and accurately to develop
an environment that allows creation of new knowledge. Communication not only supports
businesses but also decides the changes they make.
As rapid ICT evolution connects the world with networks and diversifies media, the amount
and types of distributed information have become ever larger. We provide the best means of
converting necessary information into optimal formats as well as expediting its distribution
and sharing with our technologies and expertise that we have cultivated over the years in
overall communications areas. Our goal is to help customers in resolving issues in every phase
of their work and expanding their businesses, which includes optimizing overall work flow,
reinforcing governance and strengthening their relationships with their own customers.
