Religion and Various Beliefs
Egyptian believe in a pantheon of gods and goddesses.
Ra or Ammon-ra is the highest god and the sun-god to whom they pray for a good
harvest.
Isis is their principal mother-goddess
Osiris is the brother-husband of Isis and he is the god of dead
Horus is the son of Isis and Osiris and the god of the sky
Their temples were mostly built to serve a commemorative structure for dead pharaohs or
as dwellings of a certain god.
Aton is their one and only god
People belief in afterlife
Dead bodies undergo mummification; a process the cadaver is embalmed dried, and
cover with long strips of cloth to prevent it from decaying.
Tombs are filled up with various things like clothing, food, jewels, a collection of text
and prayer (called the book of the dead) and amulets and charms. They believe that these
things can be used by the dead in the afterlife.

The Arts
People of Egypt are master of the arts, their pyramids, obelisks and limestone temples are
a testament to their extraordinary architecture.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is considered as one of the 7 wonders of ancient world.
Pyramid architects shape the pyramids in connection with their belief that a dead pharaoh
ascends to heaven to meet the sun-god.
Egyptian paintings are sculpture were mostly produced for tombs and temples
The large stone sphinxes were created to serve as guards of tombs.
People play and listen to music on harps, lutes and other musical instruments
Literature consist of imaginary stories and essay of ways of lie called instruction
The more known works of ancient Egypt includes the story of the shipwrecked sailor and
the tale of two brothers

The Science
Egyptians have an advance knowledge in astronomy, geography, arithmetic and
geometry.
They could measure distance, weight, even the area of a trapezoidal pyramid
They also know how in medicine, especially with pharmaceutical remedies and surgery

Government
Pharaohs the kings of Egypt and absolute political leader, commanding all of ancient
Egypts army and naval forces.
He is also the highest spiritual leader, who can impose new traditions and customs among
the people.
The position of pharaoh is inherited, and usually the eldest son of the kings chief wife.
Under the viziers and military commanders who help the king govern ancient Egypt, and
priest, who help him on the religious side
Egypt is divided into 42 provinces called NOMES, which are also handled each by a
particular monarch.

In my understanding of our report that the Egypt before believe of the god and goddesses.
Egypt before has 4 god and goddesses. First the highest god Ammon-ra, Second is Isis,
Third is Osiris, and last is horus But Aton is their one and only god. Egypt believe in
afterlife, the people of Egypt is the master of the arts. Egyptian paintings are sculpture
were mostly produced for tombs and temples. Egypt People play and listen to music on
harps, lutes and other musical instruments. Egyptians have an advance knowledge in

before is a good artist because they can make a nice destination or nice architectures.
Egyptian is so very smart because they are advance in astronomy, arithmetic, geometry
