Standing Waves on a Transmission Line

1. Objective:
To investigate the steady state behavior of a long transmission line under
different loading conditions.
2. Model:
An experimental model of transmission line consisting of Zc connected
with load Zr and the sinusoidal waveform generator was used for
investigation. The voltage and angle at point RE,1,2,3 and SE under
different Zr and wave length is measured.

3. Results:
The table 1,2 shows the experimental result under half and quarter wave
length.

5. Conclusion:
It can be observed from the experiment results that the general
configuration of standing quarter-waves and phase are almost similar to
the theoretical graphs.
