Your Analysis
In what area of classroom management was the teacher most effective? Which of the supportive measures
were effective? Why?

The area of classroom environment where the teacher most

effective are the seating arrangement and the record keeping. In
seating arrangement, they are 3 column each and each column, the
students are separated from girls to boys. It is effective for me
because it lessen the noise of the students and for the record keeping,
the students and teacher obliged to come in school on time and to out
on time also.

In what area of classroom management was the teacher least effective? Which of the supportive measures
were not effective? Why?

For me, they are least effective when it comes to group work
activity because the size of the room is not enough for the population
of the students. They are ranging from 50-55 students per room. It is
too small for the students who will do the said activity.

Suggest more effective ways for your answer in number 2.

It is good to see that there is a new building that will rise up

coming soon for the students. The number of the students before will
be lessening if the building is done. So for now, the teacher
establishes the activity in proper location so that the required activity
will be finish on time.

Your Reflections
1. Describe at least 3-5 characteristics of a teacher who can establish a well-managed classroom?
The three characteristics of a teacher who can establish a well-managed
classroom is the good governance in order for the students to follow the
instruction, good example so that the students has an inspiration, and a
disciplinarian to have a responsible students and in order for them to develop their
right manners and good conduct.

2. What characteristics do you have at present that can make you an effective classroom manager?
Elaborate how these characteristics can help you?
The characteristics that I have that can make an effective classroom
manage is being disciplinarian in a way that I want my students to follow the
rules and regulation properly and a being good example, I want them to admire
me or make me an inspiration to overcome their problems or something that
bother them.

3. What characteristics do you have at present that can hamper you from becoming an effective
classroom manager? How can you overcome these characteristics?
The characteristics that I have that I think can hamper me from becoming
an effective classroom manager is when I am in front of the class, reporting
some topic or having a demonstration teaching, I easily get nervous especially

when I really dont know what to say in front. I overcome it when I integrate my
topic properly and when I tell to myself many times that I can do it.

Your Target

At the end of this episode, you will gain competence in identifying possible linkages between the
school and the community, particularly those that will help attain circular goals.

Your Map
The teacher never lies in isolation. For you to be an effective teacher in the future it is vital to forge
genuine win-win relationship between the school and the community.
To reach your target, do the following tasks:

Your Analysis
Suggest new what ways by which the school can creatively use the resources of the community.

I suggest having a tree planting or flower planting inside

the students to have an exposure in their community
resources because there is always learning when they have

How can the school address the issues/concerns and problems of the community?

The school address the issues/concerns and problems of

the community by making a new building, so that the other

also lessen the number of students in each classrooms and
they will also accommodate large number students now.

Your Reflections
1. How did you feel while you were going around the community? What things did you learn that
you might have taken for granted before?

As we go around the school, we feel that we are

welcome though we were new and strangers on that
place. It is because the teacher there especially Sir Josh is
very approachable and as well as the principal Mrs.
Djoana L. Poja.

2. As a future teacher, what do you think will be your role in the community?

As a future teacher, my role in the community is to

teach my students to be responsible enough to handle
their duties and obligations in school. Also, to inspire
them that learning is most important part in life that no
one can get it out to you.

3. How you will encourage more community participation among teachers and students?

I will encourage more community participation among

teachers and students by joining such activities that will
be held inside and outside the school. It is to develop

their communication skills and to improve also the school
