advertisement/general information and instructions to the candidate.

3. The mere fact that an Admission Letter has been issued to you does not imply that your
candidature has been finally cleared by the Board or that the entries made by you in your
application for examination have been accepted by the Board as true and correct.It may be
noted that the Board will take up the verification of eligibility conditions, i.e. age ,
educational qualification and category (Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OBC/PWD),etc with reference
to original documents,only at the time of interview of candidates who qualify on the basis

xiv. A candidate who is or has been declared by the Board guilty of impersonation or of

The candidate should not bring any books,note books, loose sheets, etc in the examination
hall.

The actual examination in each paper will start at the time indicated in the time table - you
should be present in your seat at least 15 minutes before the actual time of examination.
Candidates arriving late may not be admitted and under no circumstances a candidate will
be admitted to the examination 30 minutes after the commencement of examination. In the
case of Objective Paper, candidates will not be admitted even immediately after the paper
begins. The decision of the supervisor as to whether the time for admission to the
examination is over or not shall be final.
The candidate must bring his / her own pen and must write in his / her own hand in ink/ball
point pen. Answers must not be written in pencil.
The candidates have the option of answering the papers in Hindi or English except for the
portion where test of English is involved.

v.

Immediately on receipt of answer book/supplement the candidate should see that it bears
the signature of the Supervisor / Invigilator at the space provided thereof and if not , the
supervisor/Invigilator should be informed immediately.
The candidate must write his/her roll number in the space provided for the purpose on the
main answer book. He / She must not write his / her roll number or name anywhere else in
his/her answer book or on the supplements.

vii. The candidates must attempt questions in accordance with the directions on each question
paper . If questions in excess of the prescribed number are attempted, only the questions
attempted first upto the prescribed number shall be valued and the remaining ignored.
viii. Marks will not be allotted for mere superficial knowledge. If a candidate's handwriting is not
easily legible , a deduction will be made on this account from the total marks otherwise
accruing to the candidiate.Marks will also be deducted if answers also exceed the limit set
or are below the prescribed limit.
ix.

Credits will be given for orderly, effective and exact expression combined with due economy
of words in all subjects.

x.

No candidate shall leave the Examination Hall without prior permission of the Supervisor /
Invigilator. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall until 35 minutes
have elapsed after the commencement of the examination. Under no circumstances a
candidate should take with him/her answer books/supplements supplied to him/her.
No candidate shall copy from the papers of any other candidate or permit his / her own
papers to be copied or give or attempt to give , or obtain or attempt to obtain , irregular
assistance of any description or use unfair means during the examination.

xii. No candidate shall write or revise the answers after the expiry of the allotted time. A signal
will be given five minutes before the closing time of each paper and a second signal to warn
candidates to stop writing or revising their answers.
xiii. The candidate after finishing his/her examination shall continue to be seated at his/her desk
and wait until his/her answer book is collected. In the case of Objective Paper, the question
booklet also is to be returned to the invigilator.
