Year 9 Listening and Viewing Test

This is the second of three listening and viewing tasks that you will
complete this year. Combined these three tasks have a value of 10% of
your assessment.
In this task you will be assessed on your ability to:
Compare ways in which spoken, written, visual multimodal and
digital texts are shaped according to personal, historical, cultural,
social, technological and workplace contexts
Analyse and evaluate how people, cultures, places, events, objects
and concepts are represented in texts, including media texts,
through language, structural and or visual choices
You will view a show trailer advertising the Nightlight Theatres production
of Romeo and Juliet. You will be able to view the clip more than once. Write
your answers in the spaces provided.
