is a pervasive problem experienced and is one of the biggest threat for us,
people and in the world. It maybe an indirect and direct forms. Bullying
mostly took up in schools and is especially being presented to the students.
They are experiencing violence, name-calling, teasing, taunting, rumor
spreading and social exclusion. We, the researchers conducted this research
to raise the awareness on the students and to know its effects in every
students. We also made this research possible because it is widely
recognized problem in our world especially here in our country, Philippines.
General Problem
Our research wants to give information mostly to the students who are doing
and suffering from school bullying. This paper should answer this question:
A. How do students deal with bullying and how it affects their lives as a
student?
Objectives
This paper wants to give information by having these following objectives:
Definition of terms
Bullying- use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone),
typically to force him or her to do what one wants.
Taunting- provoke or challenge (someone) with insulting remarks.
Social Exclusion- is the process in which individual of people are
systematically blocked from (or denied full access to) various rights,
opportunities and resources that are normally available to members of a
different group, and which are fundamental to social integration within that

Local Literature
According to De Guzman (2009), The national government, through the
Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED), has called for an effective cooperation and coordination among
schools and stakeholders to deal with the existing and emerging threats.
Governments must maintain peace in both public or private schools because
it is the students lives who are at stake for they will be the good image and
also the future of our country.
Plant Philippine in 2009 conducted a survey and it says that 5 out of 10
students of Grades 1-3, 7 out of 10 from Grades 4-6 and 6 out of 10 from
high schools, experienced campus violence and bullying. It is said that
school bullying is one of the biggest problems in our country that cant be
easily solved because it is the way of parenting that pushes someone to do
bullying.
Foreign Literature
School children around the world are in the way affected by school bullying
(Reid et al., 2004). 50% of all the US school children are bullied during their
schooling and 10% are bullied on the regular basis (Scarpaci, 2006). It is
said that school bullying has a big percentage because kids do have friends
or even enemies in their school, flaws and imperfection may lead to bullying.
According to Landford (2014), children who are raised by a family that has
no structure or moral at a higher risk of becoming bullies.
In the United States alone, there have been incidents that involved gun
shootings due to this problem. Where even kids are taking revenge by taking
guns and shooting it to their peers and teacher for they have suffered from
CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY
Research Design
The design we have used for our research is case study. We are focusing
only one topic which is the effects of school bullying with the means of
several Senior High School students to participate.
Population and Samples
As the topic was entitled The effects of School Bullying in every students,
we are conducting this research with the participation of Senior High School
students and to gather date needed for this research, we have our survey
forms to be given. The main highlight of this paper is to identify the effects
of school bullying.
Research Instrument
In conducting our research and to be able to collect the data needed, we
have our survey forms that was being answered by our fellow schoolmates
to have the information.
Research Locale
Our research was being conducted at the University of the East Calloocan
having the address of 105 Samson Road, Brgy. 80, Caloocan City.
Data Gathering Procedure
After the survey forms were given, we will collect the data by separating the
information and by compiling the same data to have our statistics and to
have our research a positive review.
Data Processing Procedure and Statistical Treatment of Data
Out of 100 participants that have answered the survey forms, 71 have said
that they are experiencing or have experienced school bullying and 29
students said that they have not suffered to any kind of bullying.
