How Far Do We Take "As He Is So Are We In This World?

"
Hey, everyone,

I hope things are going well. I don't really have a question, just an observation. If as He is so are
we in the world, and by His stripes we are healed; then by my stripes others will be healed.
Through our mercy, they will obtain mercy. I'm just making sure I have a proper understanding.
(I guess I did have a question after all).

Thanks for doing the work God has given you.

Hi P____,

It is good to hear from you.

You ask:

"If, as He is so are we in the world; and by His stripes we are healed; then by my stripes others will be
healed. That through our mercy they will obtain mercy. I'm just making sure I have a proper
understanding."

Look at this verse of God's Word which is so seldom quoted by the daughters of the great whore:
Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of
Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
For whom is Paul "filling up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in his [Paul's] flesh?" The
answer is that Paul and you and I are "filling up what is behind of the affliction of Christ in our flesh for his
body's sake, which is the church."

How do our afflictions do anything "for His body's sake, which is the church," if our afflictions do not in
some way help to heal our brothers and sisters in Christ of their spiritual diseases caused by listening to
and living by the bad advice coming from the great red dragon via the daughters of Babylon the Great, the
mother of harlots?

The scriptures themselves actually go one step farther and declare that God's elect will be saviors to
whom their deceived brothers in Christ will one day "come and worship at their feet."
Oba 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall
be the LORD'S.
Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but
do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved
thee.
Did not Joseph's brothers bow down before him? Indeed they did. And all those who deny that it is even
possible to "know the Truth" will one day come and "worship at our feet" if we can remain faithful to God's
Truth and never deny that we "know the Truth." The adversary has done his job well if we deny that we
can actually do what Christ said we will do, "You shall know the Truth..."

On the other hand, all of our brothers in Christ who are unwilling to separate themselves from the
heresies of Babylon, for fear of being labeled unloving, self-righteous, elitists, who think that they are
capable of "knowing the spirit of Truth" and being able to distinguish that spirit from "the spirit of error," will
just blend in with Joseph's brothers and blend in with the modern day spiritual "seed of Abraham" who are
indeed "the seed of Abraham" by the "son of the bondwoman."
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall
not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to
come.

Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the
Spirit, even so it is now .
Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the
bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Just how certain and how bold are those "in Christ" that they do indeed "know the Truth" even if they do
not have degrees in theology after their names? Just how sure can such "ignorant and unlearned men"
be? This is how certain such "ignorant and unlearned" men who have "been with Jesus" can be:
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because
many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Act 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were
unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been
with Jesus.
"They had been with Jesus" is Bible-speak for knowing God's Word, being familiar with 'The Word,' which
is "knowing God and Jesus Christ who He hath sent" (John 17:3).

Those who have received "the spirit of Truth, which leads them into all truth," are capable of "trying the
[doctrines and] spirits to see whether they are of God." Just look at the confidence of such as are those
who truly " know God and Jesus Christ whom He hath sent?"
1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in
the flesh is of God:
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and
this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is
it in the world .
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you,
than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.
Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
The only hope given in all of God's Word, to avoid the strong delusion that God is sending to deceive all
men is to to be able to say with boldness and with confidence "We are of God: He that knows God hears
us." Twice we are told "Hereby know we the spirit..." Once in verse two, and once on verse six. In both
cases we are told that the spirit of Christ is in "us," and not in those who oppose "us."

Who is "we and us?" Who determines who is "we and us?" To answer "as a man," you must decide if you
are able to say with John and all of God's apostles, "We are of God: He that is of God hears us." The only
hope of knowing who is "we and us" is to be able to confidently "know the Truth."

If you say 'That is John and the apostles, that is not me,' then when you stand before the dais of Christ,
He will say to you, "Out of thine own mouth will I judge you." If you deny that it is even possible to follow
Christ's instructions to be "One as He as His Father are one," and as He also instructs us through His
apostles to "be of one mind, and speak the same thing,: then you have judged yourself as unworthy of
"doing the things that I say."
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we
are one:
Christ and His elect "are one, even as Christ and His Father are one."
Php 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see
you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving
together for the faith of the gospel;
Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one
mind.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
As long as the Adversary has us convinced that the only people who think that is it even possible to "be of
one mind" are kool-aid drinkers who follow mere men who want to dominate the flock, then the Adversary
has been successful in convincing us, as he did Eve, that God was lying and the serpent is the one telling
the truth. God's ministers stand for but "one gospel, one spirit and one faith," yet they have dominion over
no one:
Matt 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise
dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
Matt 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be
your minister;
Matt 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
2 Cor 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye
stand.
The serpent tells us all that "all these great men who founded all of these great churches which are doing
so many good works all around the world, cannot all be wrong." And yet all these great churches all
disagree one with the other. How then can they all be right? We all know that no self-respecting Methodist
is going to be immersed in water, nor will any self-respecting Baptist, allow himself to be merely sprinkled.

The truth is that both the apostles Paul and the apostle John were cast out of the church by the very
people they had brought to know Christ. But they had all been subverted by men who told them that it
was not possible to "be of one mind." The Corinthians had come to believe in another gospel and another
Jesus:
2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds
should be corrupted from the simplicity [Greek - singleness] that is in Christ.
2 Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye
receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye
might well bear with him.
It seems incredible that God's Word tells us plainly that the great red dragon has "deceived the whole
world," and yet we believe that this statement excludes Christendom, which just happens to be the
greatest single religion on earth:
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And yet the entire Christian world seems to believe that if we just work hard enough and send in enough
tithes and offerings, we can eventually save this world for Christ, and simply avoid all the catastrophic
events mentioned in the book of Revelation.

But such is not the case. Every man who has ever lived will, one day, "Live by every word that proceeds
out of the mouth of God:"
Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
So, you are right on the mark. The tendency is to allow just any doctrine to corrupt the "doctrine of Jesus
Christ." What are those who know that doctrine told to do under such circumstances? Are we told by the
holy spirit to 'just love one another and tolerate little doctrinal differences; after all we can't really "be of
one mind?" No, we are told nothing of the kind. We are rather told to do this:
2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive
a full reward.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He
that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your
[ spiritual ] house, neither bid him God speed:
2 John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Yes, by our afflictions others are healed of their spiritually dying and spiritually leprous condition. By the
afflictions of God's elect, He is "teaching all men to forsake ungodliness," and receive spiritual healing of
their dying condition.

I hope this has served to demonstrate that it is impossible, from a scriptural point of view, to separate
Christ, our Head, from "His body which is the church."

Your brother in the Christ,

Mike
