Week Beginning:
Monday 10th October

English

Researching and reading connected

with John Connolly with regard to the
author visit on the 21st October. They
will also have to assemble a series of
questions that they can ask him. If
they have surplus time they can then
start researching the poet Matt Abbott
who will be visiting in late January.

Maths

Due to the sponsored walk the year

8s missed two maths lessons last
week. For this reason I have extended
the deadline for last weeks homework
to allow Mr Fletcher time to teaching
the calculating missing angels work on
Friday. The homework is pages 60, 61
and 62 which is due in on Monday
17th October. A reminder it is
assessment week this week so all
students will sit a topic assessment
and skill assessment on Monday.
