INTRODUCTION TO DIPLOMACY

This subject offers knowledge on the most important instrument of International Relations. Diplomacy is a civilized
way to resolve conflict. In addition, there is an addegium, which says that the first line of defence is diplomacy to show
the significance of diplomacy. This subject also offers how to understand diplomacy as a science and art by combining
theoritical and practical materials. Since we use competence based curriculum, every meeting will consist of two kind of
activities, lecturing activities and student grup activities/discussions.

Course requirements

Student is required to join in-class examination (Competence test I-IV), to submit and presenting a group paper, class
participation, and class attendance. Class attendance is a prerequisite and student should at least attend 75% of all class
meeting. Failure to meet the condition will impact the course grade depending on how many times he or she missed the
class meeting.
Group Paper
Students will be divided into some groups, each groups has the task to writing a group paper and presenting their paper
in scheduled class. Group paper requirements:
- 5 6 pages
- Submit at the week 9 (in the Midterm test)
- Printed one and power point presentation
- Students will get the topics related to subject courses (Actors, Issues etc)
