Workmanship found satisfactory. (b) Joints in Wires : No joints found in any wire ofa stranded Conductor. (1&92.1) (c) Surface Condition Test: Applied 50% UBL Load 65.16 KN and (As per Cl: 13.9) marked the conductor on circumferences and observed after one minute. The diameter of the conductor measured at 4 different places and found Cc 28.58 mm, 28,59 mm, 28:57 mm & 28.58 mm. No relative movement of the strand found. The Diameter measured at 4 places are more than the sum of minimum specified diameter of the individual aluminum & steel strands, (@ Ultimate Breaking Load : Applied the load at 130.32kN (As per Cl: 13.10) i.e. UBL load of the Conductor and found that the conductor withstood the load satisfactorily. Hold one minute at UBL and found that the Conductor withstood the foad satisfactorily. Further the load increased continuously, the Conductor fractured at the load of 134.50 kN.
