How to Find the Derivative of a Simple

Equation
(The quick way)
Derivatives are actually super easy and don't let ur math teacher
tell u any less! Now ready to get an A? Let's go!
The idea behind derivatives is that you are finding the slope of the
slope of a line. The idea might sound kinda complicated, but try
thinking of it like this. Now, what is the slope of x+1? It's 1! Imagine a
parabola. Again easy, right? That's just that weird u-shape curve. It
doesn't have any obvious slope does it. That is because the slope is
changing throughout the parabola! Keep imagining that parabola and
now imagine a line tangent to some point on the parabola. The slope of
that tangent line is the derivative of that point on the parabola. Isnt it
cool that there is actually an equation that will spit out the slope of
that tangent at any point of your imaginary parabola! That equation is
called the derivative as well! Wow! U already understand the entire
idea of derivatives from reading one paragraph! Flipping awesome!
You now understand derivatives graphically! Now there is a way to
understand this idea analytically, but we'll get to that later, they call
that finding the derivative the long way. For now, we will stick to the
short-cut for finding the derivative equation!

How to solve derivatives the short-cut way:

For each individual term,
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent
See! Wow! Easy! OMG! There's literally only 2 steps!
NOW EXAMPLE TIME!!!
Now here's the initial equation.
2x^5
Now all you have to do is:
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(2)(5)=20
So coefficient of the derivative of this equation is 20.

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

5-1=4
So the exponent of the derivative of this equation is 4.
Soooooooooo...
The derivative of 2x^5 is...
Can u get it????
20x^4

MORE EXAMPLES TIME!!!

Initial equation:
30x^27
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(30)(27)=810

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

27-1=26
the derivative of 30x^27 is 810x^26

ANOTHER EXAMPLE!!!
Initial equation:
(1/5)x^(1/2)
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(1/5)(1/2)=1/10

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

1/2-1=-1/2
the derivative of (1/5)x^(1/2) is (1/10)x^(-1/2)

EVEN ANOTHER EXAMPLE!?!?!

Initial equation:
4x+3

For the first term, 4x:

Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(4)(1)=4

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

1-1=0
(Remember! Anything, even x, to the power of 0 = 1!)
the derivative of the term 4x is 4
----For the second term, 3:
When x isn't involved things run a bit differently. The rule for any
constants or terms without variables is this.
For all constants the derivative is = to 0.
Therefore, the derivative of the term 3 is 0.

Soooo the derivative of 4x+3 is 4.

LAST EXAMPLE!!!

Initial equation:
(1/7)^13-29x^3-2x^(1/4)-20000838347237534756283745
For the first term, (1/7)^13:
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(1/7)(13)=13/7

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

13-1=12
the derivative of the first term, (1/7)x^13, is (13/7)x^12
----For the second term, -29x^3:
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(-29)(3)=-87

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

3-1=2
the derivative of the second term, -29x^3, is -87x^2
-----For the third term,-2x^(1/4):
Step 1: Multiply the coefficient of the term by the exponent.
(-2)(1/4)=-1/2

Step 2: Subtract 1 from the exponent.

1/4-1=-3/4

the derivative of the third term, -2x^(1/4), is -(1/2)x^(-3/4)

-----For the second fourth term, -20000838347237534756283745:
The derivative of the fourth term, -20000838347237534756283745,
is 0.
The derivative of
(1/7)^13-29x^3-2x^(1/4)-20000838347237534756283745
is
(13/7)x^12-87x^2-(1/2)x^(-3/4)
