GRAMMAR: 1/ The Present Simple tense: * Structures (+) S + V(s/es) Eg: Nam goes to school everyday. (-) S + do/ does NOT + V .. Eg: Nam doesnt go to school on Sunday. (?) Do/ Does + S + V . ? Eg: Does Nam go to school evreyday? * Use: Din t mt s tht hin ti, mt quy lut, mt chn l hin nhin Din t mt thi quen,mt s vic lp i lp li hin ti, mt phong tc. Thng i km vi cc trng t nh: always, usually, often, sometimes, Everyday, every morning 2/ The Present Progressive tense: * Structures (+) S + am/ is/ are + V-ing Eg: Mai is reading a book. (-) S + am/ is/ are NOT + V-ing Eg: Mai is not reading a book. (?) Am/ Is/ Are + S + V-ing . ? Eg: Is Mai reading a book? * Use: Din t hnh ng ang din ra hin ti trong cu thng c cc trng t sau: now, at the moment, at present, at once, at this time. 3/ Comparision of adjectives: a) Comparative of adjectives: a1) Short adjectives: S1 + be + short adj-ER + THAN + S2 Eg: This shirt is cheaper than that one. a2) Long adjectives: S1 + be + MORE + long adj + THAN + S2 Eg: This shirt is more beautiful than that one. b) Superlative of adjectives: b1) Short adjectives: S1 + be + THE short adj-EST + ...
