There are no charges applicable on Saffron membership.
Do I need to renew my Saffron membership every year?
No. Saffron membership is renewed automatically, with the renewal of your life
insurance policy.

As a Saffron member you are entitled to all the attractive discount offers mentioned
in our catalogue. Simply start using your Saffron card enclosed in the Saffron

Do I need to get my Saffron Card activated?

How can I avail services at CIP Lounge?
While travelling internationally, you can complimentarily access CIP Lounge simply
presenting your Saffron Card at CIP desk for card verification.
Where are CIP Lounges located?
CIP Lounges are located in International Departure Corridor at:

Can I access CIP lounge even if I forget to carry my Saffron Card?


No, CIP Lounge can be accessed only by presenting a valid Saffron Card,
otherwise the entry to the lounges would not be permitted.
Does CIP lounge announce the departures of the flights?
Yes, there is a proper facility for flight announcement. Further, there is a Guidance
& Information desk providing flight information and other details.
What if I am travelling with my Family / Relative / Business
Acquaintances? Will they be allowed to access CIP Lounge along with me
on the same card?
Yes, but only ONE Guest may be allowed to access CIP lounges with you on Saffron
Card. In case of more than one companion, you will have to pay charges at CIP
counter for the others.

No, you must present your Saffron Card at Jubilee Lifes designated Hospitals and
Labs to avail discounts.
Is credit facility available on this card?
No, this card does not allow any kind of credit facility; it is just a loyalty card that
offers discounts on medical services and examinations.

Which benefits are provided under my Car Insurance Plan?
Jubilee Life has signed up an exclusive deal with Jubilee General under which all
Jubilee Lifes Saffron customers are entitled to avail an attractive discount of 10%
on comprehensive coverage.
How can I get my Car Insurance Plan?
To avail your Car Insurance Plan, please follow the procedure below:
Step 1: Call (021) 111 111 554 to inform your Jubilee Life representative
regarding your Car insurance requirement. You will have to provide the
specifications of your car and other necessary details. Jubilee Life representative
will advise you the discounted premium amount.
Step 2: You will have to submit your premium cheque in favor of Jubilee General to
Jubilee Life. You will receive the policy document from Jubilee General on your
postal address already registered with Jubilee Life.
What are my eligibility criteria for availing Car Insurance Plan?
You must be a Jubilee Life Saffron Customer and the vehicle that you want to be
insured should not be older than 7 years.
Which General Risks are covered under my Car Insurance Plan?
Risks covered under Car insurance include:

Accidental damage by external means

I already have car insurance through Jubilee General. Can I avail this deal
on my already existing car insurance plan?
You can avail this facility upon renewal of your current policy.
I have more than one car; does this deal apply on all my cars?
Yes
Is tracker installation part of my car insurance plan?
No. having said that, if your vehicle is a variant of Toyota, Mehran, Cuore or a high
value vehicle, installation of Tracker is mandatory to avail our Car insurance cover.
I already have a tracker installed, can I avail this facility on my car policy?
If your tracker is from our approved panel of tracking companies, than you may
avail this facility

Will there be any deduction applicable on my claim by insurance company?

On high value imported vehicles, 1% excess is applicable. This means, that if the
vehicle is worth Rs.5,000,000/-, any claim upto the value of Rs. 50,000/- will not
be payable. If the claim is for suppose Rs.56,000/-, Rs.50,000/- will be deducted
and the remaining will be payable. Standard depreciation is also applicable on parts
and shall be deducted accordingly.

How can I get my Travel Insurance Plan?
To avail your Travel Insurance Plan please follow the procedure below:
Step 1: Call (021) 111 111 554 to inform your Jubilee Life representative regarding
your travel insurance requirement. You will have to provide the specifications of
your travel such as destinations, period, dates of travel
Step 2: Your request will be processed and our representative will provide you your
policy through email immediately or in hard copy within 2-3 working days.
Is Travel Insurance available for both national and international traveling?
No, Travel Insurance is available for international traveling only, regardless of your
mode of travel.
How many hours before traveling, should I apply for travel insurance
coverage?
It generally takes approx. 24 hours to complete policy issuance procedure. Keeping
this in mind, you should apply atleast 72 hours prior traveling, along with complete
set of documents.

Which countries are covered under my Travel Insurance Plan?


Travel Insurance provides you coverage for traveling to any country of the world
except:

Areas declared a war zone by the United Nations or dangerous areas


suffering from civil commotion, riots or unrest will not be covered by Via Care e.g.
Afghanistan, Nigeria, Kenya, North Korea, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, East Timor, Sierra
Leon etc.
What are my eligibility criteria for availing Travel Insurance Plan?

You must be a Jubilee Life Saffron Customer

You must be a Citizen of Pakistan or have Resident Status in Pakistan only

Age should be 65 years or below


What if I need to extend my Travel Insurance coverage period?
As Jubilee Lifes Saffron customer, you are provided free travel insurance coverage
for yourself for 7 days only. If you wish to extend your coverage for more than 7
days, please call Jubilee General at 111-654-111 during Mon Fri, 9.00 AM 5.30
PM) and avail trip extension packages exclusively for Saffron customers at a
discounted rate of 10% . To avail extended policies, you are required to contact
Jubilee General before you travel (no extension is granted if you have already
travelled) and pay premium directly.
Period of Insurance
Coverage initiates from the moment you leave your home, in respect of your travel
trip in your residence country and shall remain in force during your entire travel
period and shall end upon your return to your home country.
How will I use my Travel Insurance?
Emergency Cases
Jubilee General has collaborated with International Assistance Company- Specialty
Assistance, in order to facilitate our customers abroad. Specialty Assistance must
be contacted immediately, in the event of an Insured dying, incurring medical
expenses in excess of $500, being involved in an accident, or being admitted to
hospital. We will not be liable for any costs without the express prior approval of
Specialty Assistance.

When contacting Specialty Assistance you should state:

Your family name and first name;

The name of your insurer as Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited and
provide the insurance Policy Number and Period of Insurance;
The date of entry in the visited country;

The name, address and telephone number of the Medical Centre to which the
Insured Person has been admitted;

The name and address of the Medical Practitioner in charge of the Insured
Person

A brief description of the problems encountered.

How does Specialty Assistance operate?


Specialty Assistance will appoint a medical expert in case of a medical emergency.
This expert will have complete and free access to your insurance details as well as
your medical file to assess the validity of your claim. A valid claim will be
completely managed by this expert, which would include provision of suitable
means of transport in consultation with the treating physician as well. Please note
that Air ambulance transportation is limited to intra continental transportations and
to critical cases which cannot be accommodated by any other transportation means.

What if I am unable to contact Specialty Assistance at time of medical
emergency?
If during an emergency, or due to any valid reason, Assistance Company nominated
by us cannot be contacted for prior approval, the claim may still be considered
subject otherwise to the policy terms and conditions. In all such cases, the
expenses must be reasonable and customary and all documents (medical report,
bills, etc) must be forwarded to our appointed Assistance Company for their
approval and acceptance. No claim will be considered if our appointed assistance
company has not been contacted within 30 days of the accident or illness.

What Should I do if I need to get my Travel policy cancelled?


All cancellations are subject to the condition that you notify us 24 hours prior to the
departure date mentioned on the policy. Any cancellation requested post departure
will not be accepted unless a copy of appropriate Visa Refusal Letter is provided.
A written request must be sent from the name insured (on the travel policy) to
Jubilee General* along with copies of following documents:
a) Original travel policy
b) Letter of cancellation of the client (original)
c) Copy of CNIC
d) Original refusal letter by the related Embassy (in case of cancellation is due to
Visa refusal).
e) For cancellation of policy in all other cases client will be required to show the
original passport personally to the designated branch of Jubilee General.
f) Any other relevant document required by Jubilee General depending upon reason
of cancellation of policy.

Once your policy is cancelled, refund will be made by Jubilee General by crossed
cheque in the name of the insured and sent by courier directly to the insured after
verification from the relevant consulate or embassy in case of Visa Refusal after
deduction of standard levies and stamp duty.
