1. JUSTIFICACIN
La unidad didctica que a continuacin dispongo a exponer, est dedicada a indagar y
profundizar en los aprendizajes sobre el contacto corporal y a trabajar las habilidades de
lucha con agarre a travs de empujar-tirar o cargar-transportar, siendo el referente de
estos juegos la lucha por espacios y objetos.
La unidad didctica est dirigida a segundo ciclo de primaria, concretamente a sexto,
donde la edad de los alumnos estar comprendida entre nueve y diez aos. Adems la
metodologa empleada ser AICLES (Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos en Lengua
Extranjera). Tendr como ttulo LET JUDO.
Saber cul es la forma de ensear un deporte de lucha en el marco escolar es algo que
viene determinado por un conocimiento previo de la estructura de dicho deporte. El
docente debe tener conocimiento de cuales son las posibilidades de adaptacin de los
deportes de lucha para que stos puedan ser aplicados como contenido dentro del marco
escolar. Los diferentes modelos educativos, las diferentes progresiones metodolgicas
del aprendizaje, el anlisis del deporte de adversario como elemento educativo.
Los deportes de lucha siempre han sido relacionados con deportes violentos en los que
el enfrentamiento directo era en ocasiones incitador a la aparicin de comportamientos
agresivos, pero nada ms lejos de la realidad cuando vemos deportes como el Judo, que
prescinde de los golpeos entre los participantes y que estimula en gran medida la
inteligencia prctica de los practicantes, desarrolla las capacidades fsicas bsicas de
forma equilibrada y consigue desarrollar aspectos coordinativos bsicos en los procesos
evolutivos de las etapas de enseanza.
Las tcnicas del judo se basan fundamentalmente en el aprovechamiento de la fuerza del
contrario en beneficio propio. En judo no se ensea a nadie a golpear al adversario, ni a
atacar con violencia, sino a ser paciente, a desarrollar la atencin perceptiva, la
concentracin, el equilibrio, y a desarrollar todas las capacidades fsicas bsicas y las
habilidades y destrezas. Y es considerado por muchos como el ms completo de las
artes marciales tanto por su perspectiva fsica como mental.
Un nuevo enfoque para la Educacin Fsica bilinge
A la hora de disear cualquier reenfoque del proceso de enseanza-aprendizaje, como
en esta mirada del AICLE desde el posicionamiento de la pedagoga crtica, existen tres
cuestiones que conviene aclarar:
1- Qu ensear: seleccin de contenidos, objetivos y competencias
2- Cmo ensear: eleccin de estrategias metodolgicas y estilos de enseanza
3- Qu, cmo y cundo evaluar.
2. MTODO: AI CLE
La pedagoga crtica parte de la concepcin de desarrollar un conocimiento
emancipatorio en el alumnado, basado tanto en la libertad individual a partir del anlisis
crtico de las circunstancias personales, como en la justicia social a raz de la conexin
con el contexto comunitario (Fernndez-Balboa y Sicilia 2005; Freire, 1995; LpezPastor, 2002; Rodrguez-Rojo, 1997). Sin duda, el momento que vivimos exige nuevas
opciones para profundizar en los conocimientos personales y reforzar la identidad social
del alumnado, permitindole as transformar la sociedad en la que vivimos y convertir el
mundo en un lugar ms humano.

Otro punto que no debe faltar al hablar de metodologa en el presente estudio son las
actividades. Raquel del Castillo destaca las principales caractersticas que deben mostrar
las actividades de la metodologa AICLE (Castillo, 2012):
alumnos.
Es colaborativo.
En relacin a este trabajo por tareas, sera importante destacar el programa eTwinning.
Este programa eTwinning es una iniciativa propuesta por la Comisin Europea con el
objetivo de comunicarse, establecer herramientas escolares y de promover el desarrollo
de proyectos en colaboracin de dos o ms centros educativos de diferentes pases, a
travs de Internet. Esto favorece las relaciones internacionales entre los alumnos y
profesores, el aprendizaje de nuevas culturas, el desarrollo lingstico de la lengua
extranjera y el compromiso del alumno tomando un papel activo y provocando as, un
aumento en la motivacin. Estos proyectos se llevarn a cabo a travs de una plataforma
creada con ese fin: http://www.etwinning.net.
Se debe tener en cuenta que la implantacin de AICLE no suplanta a la enseanza
tradicional de la lengua extranjera (mtodo FLT), sino que ambas metodologas deben
ser aplicadas conjuntamente para proporcionar al alumno las competencias requeridas.

Ahora bien, una vez implantado el mtodo AICLE en los centros, la evaluacin aumenta
en complejidad. Esto es debido a que la evaluacin bajo este mtodo requiere abarcar
dos campos, por un lado, los contenidos y capacidades, y por otro, el lenguaje. Aunque
es merecido tener en cuenta que ambos se complementan, pues el lenguaje es el que nos
facilita la adquisicin de contenidos y a su vez, el aprendizaje de contenidos desarrolla
el lenguaje. La evaluacin de ambos mbitos deber seguir los principios expuestos
anteriormente.

A raz de estos planteamientos, la pedagoga crtica rechaza el enfoque de la didctica entendida
como una tecnologa, en la que la educacin est en manos de docentes con un carcter tcnico,
que no se cuestionen los fines, los valores ni el para qu de su accin pedaggica. La EF debe
tener, segn el planteamiento crtico, una identidad emancipatoria clara, basada en el
desarrollo del entendimiento y de la autonoma como atributos necesarios. Lpez- Pastor
(2002, p. 31) concreta las posibilidades emancipadoras de la EF en torno a cuestiones
como:

Esta manera de hacer pedagoga debe influir en el alumnado a travs de la generacin de nuevas
actitudes, valores, juicios, sentimientos, capacidades y aptitudes. Luego, desde la
pedagoga crtica, queda claro que ensear es transformar y en consecuencia emancipar
(Rodrguez- Rojo, 1997). Para ello, en el proceso de enseanza-aprendizaje de la EF deben
plantearse actividades relacionadas con el anlisis de prejuicios, sentimientos, saberes
implcitos, experiencias y prcticas que el alumnado alberga en su esquema cognitivo previo.
Por lo que ser necesario que los docentes provean a los discentes de procesos de debate,
discusin y dilogo en torno a situaciones reales que conecten con su contexto ms prximo.
De esta manera, a travs del contraste de pareceres y de la revisin y reflexin de
conceptos, se brinda al alumnado un salto cualitativo con relacin a las capacidades y
facultades desarrolladas, ampliando y enriqueciendo sus posibilidades de comprensin de
la realidad. cuatro elementos. En este sentido, conviene destacar que el plantea- miento del
4cs framework brinda dos grandes flancos para la introduccin de la pedagoga crtica en el
proceso de enseanza-aprendizaje de la EF. Por una parte, los pilares Content y Culture
dan pie a introducir un reenfoque en los objetivos y los contenidos a tratar. Mientras que los
pilares Communication y Cognition sugieren el acercamiento hacia procesos de enseanzaaprendizaje ms interactivos, comunicativos, colaborativos y dialgicos, centrados en el
aprendizaje cooperativo, la resolucin de problemas, la autonoma y la creatividad.

3. UNIDAD DIDCTICA
LET JUDO
3.1.
The subject is taught twice days per week, with duration of 1 hour. The didactic unit
will consist of 6 sessions, equivalent to 3 weeks. The students are 6th grade (9-10
years). Every session will be realized in the gym. We will use the mats as tatami.

o To achieve disinhibition and body contact through touch and action in the
intimate space of the opponent.
o To know that sports and martial arts are not the same thing. Understand the main
differences.
o To understand some basic concepts about the history and philosophy of judo.
o To accept people different abilities, without discrimination on grounds of sex or
physical ability.
o To know the main basic judo competition rules
o To identify and overcome the prejudice of violence that society attributes to
combat sports.
o To us e key vocabulary and structures related to the contents taught in class.

Key competences
Social and civic competences: this Didactic Unit represents an effective means
of facilitating integration into the group and promotes respect, cooperation,
equality and teamwork environment. Students will work in groups, respect the
rules, etc.
Competence in knowledge and interaction with the physical world: this
didactic unit incorporates skills to deal appropriately with autonomy and
personal initiative in divers e areas of life and knowledge. Students need to
interact with their mates, and they need to touch, to learn reasons, etc. It also
involves critical thinking and reflection on preconceptions and prejudices about
martial arts.
Linguistic competence: this competence will be less entail to establish
constructive links with others and with the environment, allowing a better
coexistence, deeper peer relationships, conflict resolution and the elimination of
stereotypes.
Competence in learning to learn: this Didactic Unit helps students develop
awareness of their own abilities and sense of personal competence based on
motivation and self-confidence.

Assessment
The main student assessment will consist of a dialogical tracking sheet that will
allow an initial, formative and summative assessment. Furthermore, it will
implement an initial evaluation of the concepts through a short questionnaire in
the very first session, as well as an initial evaluation practice using an
observation rubric.
For assessing conceptual and theoretical content, students will have to submit
and expose a written composition.
The procedural part will be assessed through the execution of a practical task.
Attitudes will also be reflected in the dialogical tracking sheet.

Vocabulary race*: we divided the class into groups. The groups are placed in a row. Each group
has several words related to judo. On the other side of the mat have several definitions stuck to
the ground. Students will have to go running with the word in hand, find the definition and paste
it, then returns to the row and out the next. The team that wins more words to guess.
Steal handkerchiefs: each student put a handkerchief in his pocket in a visible manner and tries
to steal others while stolen his. When we steal one to a fellow we put it next to ours. Only you
can take tissues one by one and win that more scarves get in the designated time.

MAIN INSTRUCTIONS
The target is to keep the opponent for three seconds back over the mat.
Opponents start the confrontation kneeling, and may recover the position whenever they
want but they can never stand up.
No hitting, scratching, pinching, or any conduct that might damage the opponent.
Each action on the opponent must be controlled so that under no circumstances they
jeopardize their safety.
The fighting will stop when one of the two opponents left out of the mats, starting over
again kneeling on mat s center.
Couples of fighter will be formed taking into account similarity in weight, height and
strength.
