Rubric for Grading Participation in Online Forums
This will be the basis for grading your participation to the discussion forums. There will be several discussion
forums for each unit of your modules. Your participation in the forums will be based on the following five criteria:
(1) quality of information, (2) critical thinking, (3) interaction, (4) reference material, and (5) language. Your final
score will depend on how you have addressed each criterion as described in the following rubric. The required
minimum posting is two per discussion forum; that is, one own thread and another as a reply to someones
posting.
