Phase 1: Get 5$. Draw 4 building cards in hand.

Select secretly 2 building cards.


Phase 2: Reveal building cards and auction
them by color (in order of least number of cards,
GWRBY). Start with player next to Il Principe.
Winner, pays bid, gets cards in his hand, gets Il
Principe, and may build 1 city.
Phase 3: Build 1 city OR play building cards of
the same color in front of you.
Build City: Pay $, get VP, play in front of you
required building cards, place shields in adjacent
regions to the city. Other players gain 2VP for
Major role (1VP for Minor) if their role matches
the color of city icons. Reveal new city card to
replace the city card that was built.
Phase 4: Major and Minor roles are awarded
based on majority of face up cards for each
color. Resolve ties for Major role with auction and
do not award Minor role. Resolve ties for Minor
role with auction. Winner of Major role, flips face
down half (round up) of his face up cards of the
color he won. Players execute their Major and
Minor roles privileges.
Game Ends:
i. Immediately when there are less than 4 city
cards in Phase 1.
ii. At the end of the round when in Phase 1 there
are less than 12 (3 players), 16 (4 players), 20 (5
players) building cards in the deck. Do not draw
building cards in Phase 1, and in Phase 2 draw 6
(3 players), 8 (4 players), 10 (5 players) building
cards for auction.
Final Victory Points:
Roles: 2 VP Major, 1 VP Minor. 2VP for each set
of 5 different color building cards. 2 VP for all
players with max $. 2 VP for all players with max
building cards in hand. 5 VP for all players with
max shields in a region. 2 VP for all players with
second majority of shields in a region only if
there is a single player with majority.
