Sub-Contract for Rental of Concrete Pump and Concrete Placing Boom

Conditions of Tender

1.

Closing Date and Time of Tender : 19th January 2016, 3:00PM

2.

Submission of Tender : HDEC HGPS System (E-Subcontracting System)

3.

Validity period of tender : 90 days.

4.

Any queries are to be submitted in writing at least 3 days prior to the closing date.

5.

HDEC-NKE is not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender, and no reason shall be
assigned.

6.

The Tenderer shall not alter any of the tender documents issued; any alternative
proposal shall be given separately.

7.

Tenderer are required to submit the following items together with the tender:
a. Project Site Organizational Chart
(Manpower: staff / direct labour / indirect labour, and equipment schedule)
b. Method statement, Quality control.
c. Proposed material technical data and test reports.
d. Comparison Table between the Tender Specification and Alternative Proposal (if
any)
e. Construction Schedule for the Sub-contract works.
f. Presentation on execution of the Sub-Contract works 14 days after Award.

8.

Any discrepancy in the figures, drawings, or specifications detected by the tenderer

shall be immediately submitted to HDEC-NKE who will make decision and inform the
Tenderer in writing. Any adjustment or assumption by the tenderer without such
verification shall be at the tenderers own risk or expense.

9.

Tenderer shall be deemed to have visited the site, examined the site conditions, and
to have made himself thoroughly acquainted by his own independent observations,
investigations and enquiries as to the nature, position, extent and practicality of the
Subcontract works, means of access, storage rooms for material and all other
matters on the grounds of want of knowledge of any and all of the aforesaid matters
will be entertained. Unless otherwise clarified, all discrepancies will be judged by
Main Contractors sole discretion.

10.

The Sub-contractor will be required to pay all the customs and excise duties on the
materials and equipment supplied under the Sub-Contract and will be deemed to
have allowed for all duties payable at the time of tender.

11.

The Sub-contractor shall be responsible and shall allow in his Tender Sum for all
applicable customs restrictions, quotas, excise and import duties, levies, withholding
tax and any other taxes, fees and charges arising out of or in connection with the
carrying out and completion of this Contract.

12.

The Tenderer are also advised that there will be other Sub-contract works
concurrently being carried out at the site. Cooperation and coordination will be
required between different Sub-Contractors by the Tenderer.

13.

The Tenderer shall fully understand their scope of work including the full extent of
required items as per drawings and specifications and which may not have indicated
on the Bill of Quantities shall deem to be inclusive. The Tenderer is required to
highlight any deviations of works and/or Works which will not be in compliance to
specifications.

14.

Non-compliance with any of the above conditions may render the tender liable to be
rejected at the absolute discretion of HDEC-NKE.

15.

Successful tenderer shall be required to enter into a formal Sub-contract Agreement

with Hyundai-NKE J/O based on HDEC-NKEs Standard General Conditions,
Particular Conditions, EHS Rules and Regulations of Sub-Contract, and these are
available for inspection at our site office upon prior appointment

16.

The Subcontract sum is not subject to any fluctuation in the cost of labor, plant
equipment, services, freight charges, currency exchange rates, duties, taxes, etc.,
that may be arisen during the Contract period.

17.

Any testing fee related to Subcontract work shall be included in Subcontract sum.
