Introduction
An umbrella or parasol is a folding canopy supported by wooden or metal ribs, which is
mounted on a wooden, metal or plastic pole. It is designed to protect a person against rain or
sunlight. The word "umbrella" typically refers to a device used for protection from rain. The
word parasol usually refers to an item designed to protect from the sun. Often the difference is
the material used for the canopy; some parasols are not waterproof. Umbrella canopies may be
made of fabric or flexible plastic. Smart umbrella which includes a fan, light, and coffee holder. All
of its features are powered by solar energy.

Large cut is to cut a roll of cloth to large strip. This program can be used cutting machine
complete with a blade or workers.
Process -3
Partly cut is to cut a large umbrella shape triangle after the large cut. First occurs with some
wood to make a triangular wooden frame, then carefully cut the piece with a blade and this
procedure is done completely manually, not using machinery.

Slik painting and heat transfer is the most common painting method for umbrella. here we will
used screen painting as an example first dry nets create by machine, then fixed in a square
wooden frame, then fill the paint color into the wooden frame in the paint, this method for
company logo is ideal.

Product strategy
Smart umbrella including all the features describe in the earlier product review section, will be
sold with no warranty we will introduce a more strong and durable model of smart umbrella
during the following year. Building the smart umbrella brand is an integral part of our product
strategy. The brand and logo will be displayed on the product and its packaging and reinforced
by its prominence in the introductory marketing campaign.

Pricing strategy
The smart umbrella will be introduced at tk. 500-600 per unit. The price will be charged for
wholesaler at tk.520 & 540 for the retailers per unit. We expect to the lower price of our product
& we think this will be desirable and acceptable to the customers for its lower price. Moreover
we have set psychological price which will give us more competitive advantages.

Distribution strategy
Our distribution strategy is to use selective distribution, marketing smart umbrella through well
known stores and online retailers .During the first year; we will add channel partners until we
have coverage in all major market in Bangladesh. And the product will be included in our own
website. We will also investigate distribution through umbrella outlets by major carrier. In
support of our channel partners, smart umbrella will provide demonstration products, full color
photos & displays featuring the products. Finally, we plan to arrange special payment terms for
retailers that place volume orders.

Promotion strategy
The smart umbrella will be introduced in February. Following are summarizes of the action
programs we will use during the first six months of nest year to achieve stated objectives.
January: We will launch a sales promotion campaign exhibit at major industry trade shows to
educate dealers and generate channel support for the product launch in December. Also, we will
create buzz by providing samples to selected product reviewers, opinion leaders, and
celebrities .Our training staff will work with retail sales personnel at major change to explain the
features, benefits, and advantages of smart umbrella.
February: We will start an intergraded Radio /TV/Internet campaign targeting middle to upper
income people and colleges and university students. The campaign will show how many
functions the smart umbrella can perform and emphasize the convenience of holding the handle
of the smart umbrella .This campaign will be supported by point of sales signage as well as
online-only ads and video tours.
March: As the multimedia advertising campaign continues, we will add consumer sales
promotion in which we will post videos to our web sites, showing how to use & run smart
umbrella. We will also distribute new point of purchase displays to support our retailers.
April: We will hold a trade sales contest offering prizes for the sales person & retail organization
that sells the smartest umbrellas during the 4 week periods.
May: We plan to roll out a new national advertising campaign this month. The radio & TV ads
will feature celebrities telling their smart umbrella to perform functions. The stylized print and

June: We will provide channel partner with new competitive comparison hand outs as a sales
