Summary

Hello! My name is John Baker, I am a Marketing and Branding professional with


experience in both B2B and B2C markets. I believe successful marketing initiatives
are comprised of three elements:

Through my work as a Marketing Manager for the North American division of a


multinational company, I have learned how to think and collaborate with both a
local and global perspective. This perspective must be effectively communicated
and I believe that nothing replaces good communication skills. Visual, Written, or
Verbal - it is crucial to all marketing efforts.
If I were to summarize my philosophy into a few sentences I would say that
branding and marketing have different focuses but when properly aligned they
reinforce one another. A brand is a story. Marketing is sharing that story with
customer and demonstrating how the narrative is relevant to them.
