QUESTION
What do you understand by the term entrepreneur? Give some examples of most famous
enterprising individual you know and explain why you think they are entrepreneurial.

Entrepreneurship it has been defined differently by different peoples basing on what they
consider the word to mean. Basically the following definitions have been put forward.
Entrepreneurship-: is viewed as the catalyst to transfer a segment of our new generation
of [downsized] people into self-employed business owners who will, in turn, provide jobs for the
rest wrote Mitch lenko in CMA. It is viewed as necessary component to the creation of a new
wealth;
Entrepreneurship-: according Professor Arthur Cole defined. As purposeful activity to
initiate, maintain, and develop a profit- oriented business. So the important part of this definition
is the requirement that individuals must create a new business organization in order to be
considered entrepreneurial.
Entrepreneurship-: according Jeffry Timmons through the entrepreneurial, defined. As
the ability to create and build something from practically nothing
According the concept of entrepreneurship help to understand the source of entrepreneur
is derived from the French verb entrepredre, which means to undertake. This refers to those
who undertake the risk of new enterprises. An enterprise is created by an entrepreneur. The
process of creation is called entrepreneurship. So according the concept help to define
entrepreneurship- is a process of actions of an entrepreneur who is a person always in search of
something new and exploits such ideas into gainful opportunities by accepting the risk and
uncertainty with the enterprise.
Entrepreneur-: is an owner or manager of a business enterprise who makes money
though risk and/ initiative. Or is the person who starts a venture to solve a problem or take
advantage of an opportunity.

The following are the qualities that I think they are entrepreneurial. According that qualities it
brings they have to become entrepreneurial. Which qualities are
Disciplined-: these individuals are focused on making their businesses work, and
eliminate any distractions to their goals, they have overarching strategies and outline the tactics
to accomplish them, and they have disciplined enough to take steps every day toward the
achievement of their objectives; Example, Oprah Winfrey.

Confidence-: they have confident with the knowledge that they will take their businesses
succeed. They exude that confidence in everything they do. Example, Carlos Slim.
Open minded-: they have the ability to look at everything around them and focus it
toward their goals. So entrepreneurs realized that every event and situation is a business
opportunity. So idea is constantly being generated about workflows and efficiency, peoples
skills and potential new businesses. Examples, Bill gate, Steve jobs.
Self- starter-: they are proactive, not waiting for someone to give them permission,
because know that if something need to be done, they should start it themselves. So they set the
parameters and make sure that projects follow that path. Example, Walt Disney.
Creativity and innovation-: they will repurpose products to market them to new
industries in order to bring about this sort of change and improvement. Example, Steve jobs.
Competitive-: according the high competition encourages many people to join in the
entrepreneurship because an entrepreneur knows that they can do a job better than another. So
they need to win at the business they create their own companys track record of success.
Example, John D. Rockefeller.
Passion-: this is the important thing that helps to become entrepreneurial because they are
willing to put in those extra hours to make the business succeed because there is a joy their
business gives which goes beyond the money.
Initiative-: they enjoy taking responsibility and they have self-imposed standards.
Strong people skills-: they are very good at highlighting the benefits of any situation and
coaching others to their success.
Determination-: they are determined to make all of their endeavors succeed, so will try
and try again until it does successful entrepreneur. So do not believe that something cannot be
done. Example, Bill gates.
Independent-: they need to control their own lives and make their own decisions; people
with an entrepreneurial personality find it hard to work in a controlled environment.

Therefore, entrepreneurial want to see what the view is like at the top of the business
mountain. Once they see it, they want to go further.
