The first mandala (pictured left) contains the first

twenty-one pathways [NThYB, bytn = 462] of the
Teli [ylt] spiraling serpent cycle of Jacobs Wheel.
The letter pairings are termed pathways because
they represent the 462 left and right pathways of
entry through the 231 gates. So pathway A-B is
quite different to pathway B-A. This important
principle is described in verse 2:5 (quoted below).
There are 462 pathways within Jacobs Wheel, but
21 of those pathways are concealed at the centre
of the Wheel(s). The repeating Teli spiral-cycle is
comprised of the remaining 441 revealed pathways
(or phases).
Alef with them all
and all of them with Alef,
Bet with them all
and all of them with Bet.
They repeat in a cycle
and exist in 231 Gates.

The first phase of the cycle is

Moon-Uranus (R-X), followed
by Moon-Saturn (R-W), and then
Moon-Jupiter (R-V), etc. The
Moon rules the first cycle from
its concealed place at the centre
of the mandala.
