Faiths Assessment Plan


Process and Purpose of Assessment
The students will use brainstorming to access
prior knowledge about oral reporting and to
discuss techniques as to how each method is
effectively done. I will use it to engage them
towards readiness for the vivid discussion of
the unit.
The students will answer prompts on their
journals related to the unit about oral
reporting. I will use critical rubric to
encourage the honing of their critical skills
and gauge how adept they are with the
knowledge and full understanding of each
oral reporting sub-category.

Collaboration Checklist

The students will use the checklist to monitor


their collaboration skills as they work
together on their oral reporting group with the
category of their choosing. I will run over the
checklist together with the group during
conferences and prompt students to refer to it
during the group performance planning and
final presentation.

Group Conferences

I will meet each group to check on their work


to ensure if they fully understood their tasks
and if their work is aligned with what is
expected of them to accomplish, and to check
on individual performances and contribution
to the group. The conference will be an
avenue for clarifications and corrections to
enhance the groups performance plan.

Interpretation Rubric

The students will use the interpretation rubric


to self-assess their performance if it is aligned
to what they planned and to what is expected
of them. I will use the same rubric to assess
final presentations.

Performance Plan Checklist

The students will use the presentation plan


checklist to assess their performance plan
and make adjustments or revisions.

Reflections

The students will reflect upon what they have


experienced and learned in the unit. They will
then use this reflection to assess themselves
and to set new goals, and I use them to assess
their learning, acquired skill and growth
throughout the unit.
