Description

Plastiment PR 650* is used as a powerful concrete plasticizer-retarder

with the additional extra capacity of concrete waterproof where high quality
concrete is required in difficult climatic conditions. Suitable for use in
tropical and hot climate conditions.

Shelf Life /Storage

Conditions

12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged unopened,

original sealed packaging, in dry conditions at temperatures between +5C and
+35C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Dosage

0.35 0.90 % by weight of cement. It is advisable to carry out trial mixes

to establish the exact dosage rate required.

Application
Instructions

Dispensing

Plastiment PR 650* is added to the gauging water prior to its addition to

the dry mix.

Application Method / The standard rules of good concreting practice (production as well as

placing) must also be observed when Plastiment PR 650* concrete.
Curing

Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially at high temperatures in

order to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage. Use Sika Antisol products as
a curing agent or apply wet hessian.

Compatibility

Plastiment PR 650* can be combined with Sikament Admixtures to

produce longer lasting workability, Sika Pump. It is also compatible with
sulfate resistant cement. Please consult our Technical Services
Department for any special usage.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.

Limitations

Limited effect when accidental overdosing occurs, but when happens

(within reasonable quantity), the set retarding effect increases During this
period the concrete must be kept moist in order to Prevent premature
drying out. There will also be an additional amount of air entertainment
