WE

Fluid couplings are designed for power transmission in high

inertia machines operated in difficult operating conditions and
exposed to substantial and vehement overload. The application
of fluid couplings boosts smooth drive start-up, shortens electric
motor operation time at high currents, reduces sudden jerks and
halts and stops all dynamic load surpluses.

- Select coupling size on input power and speed.

- The curves show limit capacity of couplings.
- If the selection point falls on or close to the max capacity limit line of a given coupling size then it is advisable to check with the
starting time and the maximum allowable temperature calculations.
