Hi Ozer,

Please see below the comments I made on your EMTS End of Practicum Report. As
we discussed, there is a section on the report where you need to add a reflective
comment see below heading. Could you please add in a statement (not
necessarily on this page) and forward (email) to Jenny Costello so she can add it
into the report, save and print a copy for you and send off to VU.

COMMENTS ON PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE Ozer has demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively structure lesson plans
using research and mentor teacher advice. He organises the content into well
sequenced programs that meet specific learning goals for a range of student
abilities in Years F-9 physical education curriculum. Ozer is working towards
developing programs which support participation of students with differentiating
social and physical capacities within each year level.

COMMENTS ON PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE Ozer demonstrates a sound ability to set challenging learning tasks and achievable
goals for students in all areas of physical education. He displays effective
communication skills and ability to provide a range of teaching strategies to support
student engagement. Ozer encourages inclusive opportunities and participation for
all students in his lessons. He ensures all equipment is set up in a safe and
organised fashion and gives clear instructions for correct use.

COMMENTS ON PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT -

Ozer has attended all required teacher professional development sessions and
meetings as required at Carranballac P-9 College during his teaching placement this
semester. He demonstrates increasing professional growth and is willing to seek and
apply constructive feedback to improve his teaching practice.

colleagues and other teaching professionals.

MENTOR TEACHERS RESPONSE Ozer has displayed great progress during semester two in his personal and
professional teaching practice. He demonstrates growing confidence in his teaching
skills and abilities and is always willing to assist other teachers during 'multi - class
groups' participating in physical education classes. Ozer communicates with both
students and staff in a quiet, respectful manner which is very effective in
maintaining classroom management and control.

During this six week teaching placement, Ozer has enthusiastically coached various
sport teams at inter school sport competitions, including basketball, T 20 Blast
Cricket and soccer. He also organised and implemented a very successful 'Mini
Olympics Day' for the F-2 students at the college. This included responsibility for
instructing year 9 student leaders to assist at various task stations at the event.

Ozer has completed all of the focus areas and standards for a graduate teacher
satisfactorily. He is reflective of his own professional practice and strives to improve
personal skills and expertise.
