Course Description: Integrated Math 2 contains standards from Geometry and Algebra 2. The first
semester and part of the second relate to Geometry standards such as reasoning and proofs,
congruent triangles, relationships in triangles and quadrilaterals. The second semester involves an
investigation into functions such as Quadratic, Exponential as well as Complex numbers.

Materials: Students are required to bring pencils, erasers, a notebook, and a scientific calculator.
The first week will require a compass and a protractor. Students will benefit from bringing the
following: red pen, blue pen, graphing paper, and highlighters.

Homework: Homework is incredibly important in this class and will be assigned, checked and
corrected daily. Homework must be completed in pencil with all work shown. Make up homework
will be accepted one day later from its original due date for each absence and only for students with
excused absences.

Quizzes/Tests: Quizzes and tests will be administered periodically. It is your responsibility to
make up any tests or quizzes that you missed due to an excused absence. Quizzes and tests must be
made up on the day of your return.

Notes/Classwork: All students are required to take notes and participate in daily activities.
Students should take notes down on a designated notebook for Integrated Math 2 with the title and
date of each lesson. Notebooks will be checked once every grading period and it is your
responsibility to make up any missing notes.

Final Exam: District final exams will be given at the end of each semester and have their own
category in the grading scale. Arrangements must be made in advance if you are going to be absent
on the day of the final exam. Truant, unexcused or unverified absences will result in a zero being
averaged into your grade for the final exam. Second semesters final is cumulative and includes
questions from first semester.
