Introduction
What is considered to be your dream school? My future plans next year is to attend Arizona
State University next year. Im going to Arizona state university next year to get a quality
education and play baseball. I plan on living in a dorm who I will be rooming with my other
teammates. I cant wait to attend Arizona State University.

Housing information
Arizona State University has a housing option for me. All freshman baseball players are
required to stay in the same dorms. And after their freshman year you are a loud to stay off
campus if you wish. Dorms and apartments should be very similar.

On Campus Housing
The residence halls that I have looked at would cost about 6,500 dollars in Fall-Spring and in
fall of 2016 it would cost 3,225 and in spring 2017 it would cost you 3,225. I would be staying in
in Shared room space/ shared bathroom because it is required for me to stay in a dorm with a

teammate. So it would be 7,850 in the Fall-Spring and in fall it would be 3,925 and in spring it
would cost you the same price 3,925. There will be an open gym and restaurant at the bottom of
the apartment open to people of dorm.
Apartment Housing
Apartments can offer a ton of great

things when you get one.

For example moving out and living

on your own would be

awesome because you

start your life in the real

world. If to stay with a

roommate all together it would cost you 709

dollars so it would be

about 355 dollars a person if you were to share.

Some of the amenities

required for this would be some of your more

common stuff such as Barbeque grills, Fitness center, TV lounge, pools and Laundry Facilities.

Housing Reflection
Im going to be living in a dorm my freshman year with my teammates. Im choosing to live
in the dorm because I have to. All NCAA freshman athletes are required to stay in dorms. But
after my freshman year of college Im going to hopefully find a quality and affordable dorm that
I can share with a group of friends that I can trust. Even though living in a dorm would cheaper
than living in an apartment. It would still be nice to have some freedom.
Financial Plan
The financial plan for me is mostly pair for. Getting athletic and academic scholarships are
going to help me throughout my college career. Im going to have to pay off the rest during
college or after college which are student loans.
Estimated Expenses
I estimate spending money on rent, because without rent you wont be able to live in your
apartment or dorm. Food, because without food you obviously wouldnt be able to survive. Gas
because you will need to drive all across town. Books you will need books for your classes.

Estimated Income
Some sources of income would be such as getting a job whenever youre not going to school
or doing homework because you need to be able to still make money to pay for rent and food.
I feel my parents will help me if I ever need them. Also some other incomes could be graduation
money from your families and friends. And also the big and main one, Scholarship money.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I have learned that college is not cheap. College is very expensive in so many
different ways. Such as paying for a dorm or paying for an apartment. And once you pay for
those you have to for rent and food. Is all this stuff that you have to buy worth doing if the school
you are attending is not your dream school? In my opinion you want to try and go to you dream
school because thats where you know you will have the most fun at.
