This is a combined grade 4/5 . There are 13 grade 5 students and 11 grade 4 students. This is a
diverse group with a number of learning challenges.

Kelly displays great commitment in all class activities and lessons. She shows excellent initiative performing many
classroom duties without having to be asked. She has displayed a high degree of professionalism in all areas.

Comments:
Kelly has created and developed many interesting and creative lessons in Math, Language Arts, Social Studies,
Science and Health. She uses a large variety of methods and materials when developing her lesson plans. She
considers students individual differences when developing lessons anticipating that some students may require
support with certain concepts. She strives to support and challenge all students.

Kelly communicates clearly and effectively with students in all activities. She has shown a keen interest in using our
class mimio, using this technology to create lessons which are interesting and engaging for students. Kelly is skilled
at reviewing student work in order to determine which students may require support. She reviews work with
individual students in order to provide timely feedback on student work.

Kelly has developed excellent relationships with both students and staff members. She monitors the classroom
environment and behavior. She intervenes to address student behavior in an appropriate manner when necessary. I
have been extremely pleased with Kellys progress this term. She is more than ready for her second year.
