RESEARCH THE RANQUE-HILSH EFFECT

BY MEANS OF CFD ANALYSIS
2014 Ya.A. Korkodinov, A.M. Khanov
Perm National Research Polytechnical University
In work the review of CFD researches of the vortex effect executed by other authors is carried out. The
hypothesis of formation the refrigerating cycle is considered. The numerical analysis of 2D model of a
vortex tube is carried out. On the basis of analysis conclusions about validity of carrying out 2D analysis,
and also about legitimacy of application the hypothesis of emergence the refrigerating cycle are drawn.
Short research of influence of tube geometry on its efficiency is conducted.
Key words: vortex effect, temperature division, CFD analysis, refrigerating cycle, vortex tube
