words and the elements of a poem.

Warm Up

diction (word choice) changes the meaning:

A narrow grimace creeped across his face.

Todays Tasks:
1. Open up the Google Classroom to finish your
quiz.
2. Once you (and your partner) finish the quiz with
100% scores, get a Mad Libs assignment.
Complete it together. Once finished, share with
your group.
3. Once you finish Mad Libs, work on the
Connotation/Denotation Pairs assignment.
4. Once you finish that assignment, work on the
Poem Analysis (on Google Classroom).
