Objective:
Get the goblin family to a safe zone.

Example Procedures:
Starting Procedure:

Hit specific button to enter gameplay (start button, space bar, etc.)

Sample Progressing actions:


Left arrow: go West, Right arrow: go East, Up arrow: go north/ up menu, Down arrow: go
south/down menu, A button: interact with object/continue dialogue, select or shift button: save

Sample Special Actions:

Pressing B button while move causes avatar to move quickly, X button: open menu,
B (or S) button: Exit Menu, Y (or Z) button: rest party

Sample Resolving Action:

-Player survives hardships and gets caravan to safe zone


-Player defeats enemy in turn-based combat
-Player resolves text-based character conflict

Sample Rules:
1. You cannot move forward while resting
2. You cannot move forward while hunting/ gathering materials
3. You cannot continue if you die or lose entire caravan
4. You can only use resources that you acquired on your own, whether through trading or buying

Food, Water, Livestock (chickens, goats, donkeys, rats), gather-able materials (wood, food,
common ore, rare ore, medicinal plants), gold (currency)

Dramatic Elements Outline

Name:

Premise:
As players compete for points in a variety of ways (treasure hunts, deathmatches, races and puzzles), they discover hidden doors, tunnels, and map clues, along with secret teleportation sites that
take them to a variety of interesting locations that help them move through the level. When they
reach the last teleport as time counts down to zero, they then move to a new level that is somewhere
else in the Space/Time continuum.

Player demographic:
Ages: 10 years and older
Types of players: Competitor, Explorer, Collector, Achiever, Artist, Performer, Engineer

Optional Characters:
Deuce Graham 4X world Champion returning to defend title. Deuce shows no mercy when it
comes to eliminating his opponents
Lindsey Thorp Last years second place finisher. Shes out to defeat Deuce for what he did at the
end of last years final round.
Rocket Reynolds Hes a fast racer, but hes also a really bad shot when it comes to FPS competition

Story:
In the not so distant future, teams compete in the virtual world for serious prize money. As virtual
reality gaming becomes more popular, more online gaming leagues are popping up all over the internet. Telequest emerges as one of the most popular as it combines treasure-hunting adventure with
racing speed, FPS skills, strategy and puzzle-solving skills. In this particular series, the characters
are well-known champions in virtual sports who transport between numerous fictional time periods,
facing a variety of challenges, from deciphering ancient languages and building weapons out of
primitive components, to piloting futuristic vehicles through the earths crust in order to make it to
the last transporter in time. Each player in the tournament has a computer-generated support team
to help decipher codes, track opponent movement, and piece together map data for faster navigation through the level. Who will be victorious in this years championship match-up?

Terrain Incident: In a jungle, high above a river canyon, as other players are crossing a rope suspension bridge, you chop all four ropes at one end of the bridge with your axe, causing the bridge to
plunge, thereby taking out those players. You score 10 points for each player on the bridge. (be careful however, as there is a hidden teleport near each end of the bridgeneed we say more)
Other possibilities: Trap players inside a dead end cave, cause a rock slide, break a dam to flood a
