ROB

ROB Design Proof Checked from College of Engineering,


Pune. Approval for sub-structures received and works
commenced at site. Codal & Supervision charges
deposited to Railways. Agreement between NHAI and
Railways is completed. Approved drawing received from
Railways. NOC from District Collector, Pune received for
closing the Railway gate after the ROB is completed.
CRS approval for launching scheme from CRS and
staircase is in progress. Factory inspection has been
done on 17th June 2011 for POT/PTEF bearings by
Railway Authorities, IE.
Work in progress for RE wall in both the approaches. Till
date all the girders casted and stressed and made
ready for launching. Launching of girders expected to
start in first week of January-2011. CRS approval
received and launching of 16 girders is expected by 2 nd
week of Feb12.

Flyovers

Pre Construction
Bhigwan Flyovers: With reference to site visit on 12th
March 11 & subsequent meeting on 13th March 11 with
CGM(Tech) HQ, NHAI and CGM(Tech) RO, on 18 th March
2011 tentative cost estimate has been submitted to
NHAI and Independent Engineer for getting In Principle
approval
In Principle Approval is received from
Authority for COS-1 in July Month.
For Bhigwan Flyover @ Ch.99+000: 6-lane flyover with
span
arrangement
(2x15m)+30m+(2x15m).
Construction work is in progress on RHS side in P3 and
P4 piers.
For Bhigwan flyover @ 100+424: 6-lane flyover with
span arrangement 15m+30m+15m and PUP of size
6x3.5m on either side of in the approaches. The revised
GAD is issued to contractor for Planning purpose.
Construction of the same started.
99 Flyover- All Raft casting completed on RHS.
Abutment A1, A2 & P4 in progress. Please refer
Annexure H.
100 Flyover- A1 P1 & P2 of RHS raft completed.
Work in progress on retaining wall of 100 FO.

Chaufulla Flyover: Revised GAD along with stage
wise construction program, after incorporating the
observations made by CGM submitted on 16 April 11 to
IE. IEs observations on the revised GAD were clarified
by PSEPL on 25 May 11 and is now under review by
NHAI for their approval to go ahead with construction.
In Principle approval received from NHAI.
55 % of Retaining wall work completed. Simultaneously
Encroachments removal and taking over on remaining
fronts is in progress.

Toll Plaza

Works in progress at 80 culverts and completed for 148


out of total 265 culverts.
Pre Construction The Canopy and Tunnel Drawings are
issued to contractor. Work started at 144 Toll plaza. GSB
and WMM completed. PQC/DLC is in progress. Tunnel
work is in progress. Canopy fabrication started.
65 Toll Plaza- Marking of layout done on the site.

78 Canal Bridge
:

Lenders Engineers MPR

Pre Construction GFC drawings approved.


Work in progress on both LHS & RHS and have reached
up to pier/abutment cap level. All 32 girders launched.
All Deck Slabs completed. Construction of Crash barrier
is in progress. Backfilling work started on LHS.
Pre Construction GFC drawings approved for all
bridges. Excavation, Substructure & Superstructure
works for 5 Bridges in Progress and 30 bridges
completed out of total 36.

Raft Completed and work in progress on side walls.

The Pre-construction & Design activities completed.


In Package-I 25. 985 Km on RHS MCW & 20.905 Km on LHS MCW of DBM
completed.
In Package-II 48.98 Km on RHS MCW & 42.93 Km on LHS MCW DBM completed.
Considerable progress achieved in structures with 228 nos Pipe culverts out of 265
and 73 nos Box Culverts out of 83 nos are tackled. 31 Minor Bridges are completed
and 4 are in progress. Pedestrian Underpass & Vehicular Underpasses cumulatively
8 completed and 9 nos are in progress out of 22. Super Structure work of Major
bridge work completed on both sides. ROB- RHS substructure works complete and
ready for launching girders. RE wall erection is in progress in both approaches. The
casting of ROB girder has started in last Week of June-11. All the 32 nos of girders
stressed and kept ready for launching.

The details of the QC tests performed are given in Annexure-R.
Crusher, HMP and Batching Plants have obtained clearance from MPCB.

Package-II ( Ch. 93.+700 to 144+400)


For Package-II, the Civil Contractor has established a fully fledged laboratory
On RHS of Ch. 110+00 (Dalaj) with the site office premises.
Due source approvals are obtained by the Civil Work Contractors for the
materials to

be incorporated in the permanent works. Details of QC Tests performed are


given in Annexure-R.
Crusher, HMP and Batching Plants have obtained clearance from MPCB.
The details of Source Approvals obtained by the Civil Work Contractors is given
