You have $100 to spend; do you think you can


afford to buy all of these items?
2. Estimate how much the items will cost altogether.
3. Choose 10 items and write their name and price
into your maths book.
4. Add up all of the prices and confirm whether you
can or cant afford the items. (Make sure you check
your addition at least once)
5. If the 10 items cost less than $100, how much
money do you have leftover? If they cost more
than $100, how much over the price limit have you
gone?
6. Was your estimation close to the actual price of the
items? Why do you think it was/wasnt?
