hoursaday.Themanagementsaysthatitistherequirementfortheprocessandwedonotgetpaid
overtimeforittoo.WhenthiswasraisedtotheHRtheysaidthatovertimeisinthepipeline.Howdo
we put an end to this malpractice of making people work extra and not pay their dues. No body
raises their voice due to fear of losing their jobs as the job market is prey unstable at this time.

I am working in a BPO at Malad Mumbai for last 6years & for 3years as a Team Coach. We had

fromanyone.TheydidnotshowmeanymailtoproveifIwasrejectedforthepositionbutthemail

& ops manger had a meeting they called me & informed that there is late coming issue for last
40days.iwasnevergivenawarningonthisbefore,itoldthemtoremoveoordataasmyTL&other
supervisorwhoarealwayslate,soigotanswerthatwe1stneedtotakeactionagainstyou&thenwe
might see what to do about other supervisor. Now they telling me to write apology leer which i

in the locker but forgot to keep the mobile phone in the locker. Before entering the oor there is a
securitycheckandtheguycheckedmeandfoundmobileinthefrontpocketofmyjeans.Hetookmy
mobilephoneandtoldmetowritetheempidandthenallowedmetoentertheoor.
ItoldmymanagerabouttheincidentandthenloggedinandwhenIwasdonewithmyrstcallmy
TltoldmetologoandthenTheVPOperationsterminatedmestatingthathowcanthecompany
andThesecuritybeleivethatIwasnotcarryingitintentionally.
ItriedtoexplainthemthatifIwouldhavehadsomewrongintentionthenIwouldhavehiddenthe
mobileandthentriedtoenterbutnobodylistenedtome.Theymademesigntheclearenceformand
terminatedmecompletingalltheformalitiesthenandthereonlywihoutgivinganywarning.
I feel that I have been cheated because my performance was good and just because a mobile was
found in my pocket that also outside the oor, I was terminated. Teleperformance India has
terminated8otherpeoplebeforemeforthesamereason.

hoursaweekwithonedayaso.NocompanyinIndiacanaskanyemployeetowork24X7.Go

Hi,
ImworkingforaUKbasedBPOpartnershiprmlocatedinKerala.WorkingonUKshiftAfternoon
to Night. Happy with the work, but our company is not providing leaves properly. Monday to
Saturday we are working from 1.00PM to 10.00PM. and only geing a Sunday O. Not only that
company is providing 28 days of annual leave in words, but from that Public Holidays(2 days for
Vishu,2daysforEaster,3daysforOnam,2daysforChristmas),Strikes,Harthal,Electionswillgets
reducedfromthe28daysleave.Laterwerenotsupposedtotakeanypersonalleaves.Andalsowe
aresupposedtoWorkonalldays,evenonAug15,Jan26andwhatevernationalholidaysorstrikes
came.

driverwhiledroppingustohomeusetodrinkwhichisriskyandunsafe.Eventheseniorswhotake
thedropinmycabaskthecabdrivertostopateachandeverypointwhichmakesmedelayandis
even risky to stop the cab in night. The shift time ends at 2.30 am in night while this cab driver
knowingly makes delay and 6 to 7 times he has arrived the company at 3.55 am and i reached the
home at 4.40 am. On 30 march 2016 i wrote a leer to the company regarding this issue which
companyhasfailedtoresolvelongbackandcantcomeinnight.iaskedthemtogivemethedayshift
bcoziwanttoworkinthisorganisation.Soincase,iftheydontprovidemethedayshiftduetothis

March 2016), DLF Cyber City as Manager. The company has not been paying the salaries and my
