the number (make a circle, then a line), nine on a

Metzger. Talk about what makes the leaves
different. Show students different types of leaves.

-Count Your Candy Activity. Give each student 10
pieces of candy corn. Say, write, show different
numbers between 0-10. Students will put the
correct number of candy in their bucket.

-Why Do Leaves Change Colors? Activity. Mash up
leaves, put them in the jar, pour in rubbing alcohol,
make coffee filter into a cone, and place the bottom
of the filter into the jar. After a few hours the
colors will start to filter through the coffee filter
(may take hours) explain why leaves change color
