2. The main purpose of this work is explaining how technology has influenced medicine. It
also talks about how technology might influence medical records in the future.

3. The content consists of the graphs and percentages (discussed further below), and
explanations of specific technological advancements in medicine such as surgery simulation,
streamlined lab testing, mitochondrial DNA transfer and cloud based data and software.

4. The possible audience is both patients and people who are either already in the medical
field or people going into the medical field.

5. The information is relevant because everyone as patient deserve to know how we are
advancing medical technology to better treat people like ourselves and how physicians might
be able to treat us better in the future.

6. Some special features are graphs and percentages of how many adults own smartphones,
how many of those same adults own a tablet computer, Doctors growing use of technology
and the projected growth for health informatics to the national average and other related
professions.

7. I do not find any bias or weakness in this article. It addresses its main point in detail with
evidence and credible sources to back up that evidence.

field or people going into the medical field. As well as people doing research on medical
technological advancements, like me.

5. The information is relevant because it reflects on the technological advancements made


over the past decade and how they are still relevant today, as well as how they have proved
medical technology.

6. There are not many special features, it is pretty straight to the point but does include a
picture.

7. The article includes some bias like when the author says dreamed of for decades about
less invasive surgeries.

advancements and when they happened.

5. The information is relevant so that if you are wanting to go into the medical field in the
future you are able to get a glimpse to what it might look like and for patients to see how their
experience might go.

7. I do not find any weakness or bias. This is a well structured and detailed article.

5. The information is relevant to see the other side of technology's effects on medicine
because most of the articles focus on the good things technology has brought to medicine
without going into detail about the bad things.

6. Some special features are that the article includes images. Also it mentions specific jobs
within the medical field.
7. I cannot find any weaknesses or bias within the article. It is very helpful when studying
technological advancements in the medical field because it gives two different viewpoints.
