Homework assignments:
There will be a total of 5 assignments which are to be submitted in hardcopy and are due one
week after the day of posting. Please drop your solutions in the designated box on 4th floor of
Education Building. Late submissions before posting solutions will be penalized by 10% for
every day. Assignment submission will not be accepted after posting solutions.
Laboratory reports:
Number and contents of lab sessions will be determined by the department and the lab
instructor. The deadline for submitting the lab reports, which are to be submitted in hardcopy,
is two weeks after your laboratory session. Please drop your lab reports in the designated box
on 4th floor of Education Building. You will lose 10% of the total mark for every day after the
reports due date.
Midterm exam date:
We will decide on the date of the mid-term exam in class.
Final exam date:
Tuesday, December 13 - 2016 at 9:00 AM. Exam location TBA
Midterm and final exams cover the material presented in the classroom therefore class
participation is strongly recommended.
Questions or concerns about grading:
Course and lab TAs will grade the assignments and lab reports respectively. If you have a
question or concern regarding the grading of your assignments or lab reports, please contact
the respective TA. Assignment and lab report grades will only be changed after the approval of
the respective TA. If you have a question or concern regarding the marking of your midterm and
final exams, please come to my office or email me for an appointment.

September 13, 2016- Tuesday- First day of classes for ENPE 460
November 11, 2016- Friday- Remembrance Day- No class
December 06, 2016- Tuesday - Last day of classes for ENPE 460
December 13, 2016- Tuesday - Final exam
Calculator policy for the course:
Only calculators approved by the Faculty of Engineering (available in bookstore) are allowed in
exams.
