Transits
A Nadi Method
Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus
In nadi astrology, Saturn is considered as presiding over the portfolio of Karma or
duty as Karma Karaka.
Saturn(significator) decides the fate and duties of the individuals born in this world

depending on Saturn's interaction with other karaka planets. In performing such
duties presided over and decided by Saturn the presiding deity, there will help and
cooperation of other planets to Saturn whether this cooperation will prove beneficial
or harmful to the native depends upon the planetary configurations I the native's
birth chart and during transits. Jupiter is the other main major planet representing
the life force or Jeeva whose interaction with the event karaka planet is important
for fructification of the event. Rahu and Ketu are the other major planets generally
obstructing the event karaka planet. Mars is taken as the karaka planet for marriage
event or for the marital knot . Marital knot as distinctly different from the concept of
marital bliss or wretchedness of marital life. How a marriage event manifests has no
bearing on how life develops in the context of the marital aspect. Contributory
factors culminating in the marriage event cease to have any further play or
contribution thereafter. Under the nadi method, Venus is depicted as karaka for
marital life which can develop into marital bliss or crucible for suffering.
Transits
In nadi astrology, transits of Saturn and Jupiter are mainly considered connecting
the karaka planet of an event in the birth chart for timing the event. Since Mars is
the karaka planet for marriage event, the interaction of Saturn and Jupiter with mars
during their transit becomes opportune for the marriage event to occur. The 7th
sign depicts partner of the native, the one with whom the marital knot is tied and
the transits of Saturn and Jupiter with the 7th sign from Mars also becomes
opportune. Jupiter and Saturn interact with natal Mars in birth chart when they
transit over these signs or aspect these signs. Jupiter transits each sign for about an
year and Saturn transits each sign for about 2 1/2 years. It can be seen that in one's
life span, Jupiter and Saturn would be interacting with the sensitive point of marital
knot periodically at regular cyclic transits. While it is prerequisite that Saturn and
Jupiter in their transit interact with mars natal position to bring about marriage
event, it does not follow that every time Jupiter and Saturn interact with marital
knot sensitive point it would be necessarily result in the marriage event. The task,
therefore, is to elect the particular transit of Saturn and Jupiter out of the series of
transits by process of eliminating unproductive transits. The step in this direction is
to check whether the karaka for marriage event mars comes under situations to
cause delay or obstruction. Rahu's interaction with Mars can cause impediments or
delay in marriage. Symbolically , Mars is considered as being swallowed by Rahu.
Change of Sign
In nadi astrology, whenever a planet is retrograde in a sign, it is considered to be in
the previous sign also. When Saturn is in the beginning of a sign upto about 3
degrees and Jupiter up to about 1 degree, they are taken to be in the previous sign.
When two planets in parivartana (exchange of signs) they are taken to be in their
own signs.

In nadi astrology, the transit of major planets is also considered in the navamsa
chart in the fructification of the event. Since navamsa chart is supposed to
represent marriage aspect, the transit of Saturn and Jupiter over the navemsa lagna
and navamsa lagna lord is considered as additional point for timing of marriage.
NADI METHOD RULES FOR MARRIAGE AGE
The following are the main rules for arriving at probable marriage age:

Jupiter during transit conjoins or aspects natal Mars or 7th sign from natal Mars.
Saturn during transit conjoins or aspects natal Mars or 7th sign from natal Mars.
Jupiter during transit conjoins or aspects navamsa lagna or navamsa lagna lord.
Saturn during transit conjoins or aspects navamsa lagna or navamsa lagna lord.
The following additional points may also be noted:

When Jupiter, Saturn or Mars is retrograde in birth chart in a particular sign, they are
to be considered to be in the previous sign also and age is to be counted from there.
When Jupiter is in about 1 degree and Saturn is about 3 degrees in the beginning of
a sign, they are to be considered to be in the previous sign also as per the Vakya
Siddhanta followed by nadi astrology and age is to be counted from there.
When Rahu is with Mars or next sign to Mars, the 4th sign from mars would be the
sensitive point for interaction with transits of Jupiter, Saturn , Rahu.
When Rahu is in opposite sign to mars, the 4th sign from there, that is,. the 10th
sign form natal Mars is to be considered as the sensitive point.
When Mars is in parivartana ( exchange of signs) with another planet, Mars is to be
considered to be in own sign acting as the sensitive point.
When Mars is retrograde with Rahu, first Mars is to be place in the previous sign and
the 4th sign from there is to be considered as the sensitive point.
Thumb Rule for Counting Age
Counting of age is to be started from natal Jupiter sign at the rate for one year per
sign in clockwise direction, from natal Saturn sign at the rate of 2 1/2 years per sign
in clockwise direction and from natal Rahu sign at the rate of 1 1/2 years per sign in
anti-clockwise direction. This means that Jupiter transit on the natal Jupiter sign is
considered as completion of one year age and accordingly Jupiter transit on the next
sign is taken as completion of two years and so on. Similarly Saturn on natal Saturn
sign is considered as completion of 2 1/2 years and on the next sign completion of 5
years and so on. Rahu transit on natal Rahu is taken as completion of 1 1/2 years
and on the previous sign since Rahu moves anti-clockwise completion of 3 years
and so on. By this thumb rule, it can be quickly checked in which signs Jupiter,

Saturn and Rahu would be during transit for completed years. As already stated
earlier, the transit positions of Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu can be noted from 21 years
age onward to check their interaction with natal Mars, navamsa lagna and navamsa
lagna lord to eliminate the unproductive ages for marriage due to Rahu interaction
with Mars.
Factors Responsible For Insanity/Lunacy in Astrology

Ascendant: general mental and physical abilities of the person

4th house: represent human mind

5th house: stands for mental capacity and extra -ordinary brilliance

6th house: denotes sickness

Moon: significator of mind

Mercury: mental brilliance and intelligence

Sun: mental brilliance, inner illumination

1. Reunion with spouse: For marriage we consider the houses 2nd, 7th, and 11th houses. If the
11th cusp sub lord signifies 2nd and 7th bhavas, the reunion fructifies during the conjoined
period of the significator of 2nd, 7th, and 11th houses.
2. Recovery of the lost property: If the sub lord of the 11th cusp if signifies 2nd, 6th, and the
11th, recovery of the lost property fructifies in their conjoined periods.
3. Returning of the missing person: If the sub lord of the11th cusp signifies 2nd, 4th, 6th and
11th; the missing person shall return home in the conjoined period of the significator of 2nd, 8th,
and 11th houses.
4. Can I tap water ? If the sub lord of the 11th cusp is deposited in the star of a planet in a watery
sign, one will tap water. If it is in a barren sign one cannot tap water.
5. Fulfillment of ones desire: If the 11th cusp sub lord signifies 1st, 2nd, and 11th, one has
success in his attempts and fulfills his ambition.
6. To do research: If the 11th cusp sub lord is in the 12th bhava or connected to the 12th, and
also connected to the 9th and 11th, it shows his success to do research. The placement of the 11th
sub lord in the 12th indicates that one does research in overseas.
7. To do PHD: If the sub lord of the 11th cusp is in the constellation of the significator of the
4th and 9th or he himself signifies the 9th and in some way connected to Jupiter, he gets PHD. If
the 11th sub lord is in a moveable (chara) rasi, he will become a PHD holder in a very easy way.
8. Winning over elections: The sub lord of the 11th cusp should signify the houses 1st, 6th,
10th and 11th. When there is no planets posited in the 11th house and not connected to with the
nodes in that sign, the sub lord of that cusp becomes a strong significator, even if he is not a
direct significator through his stellar lord. If that sub lord signifies 5th, 8th, and 12th, failure is

9. FOR THE PROSPERITY OF AN INSTITUTION: If the 11th cusp sub lord signifies 6th and
11th, there is prosperity. If it signifies the 2nd also, there will be good income to the institution.
10. If the 11th cusp sub lord signifying any of the improving houses, he will have friends who
will be helpful.
11. INTERVIEW: -The 11th cusp sub lord should be in direct motion at the time of interview and
becomes a significator to 3rd and 9th his interview is successes full.
12. Child returning from the school: This has to work out on the sub number given by the
mother of the child from the school. In the mothers chart if the 11th cusp sub lord signifies the
5th (CHILD) and the 11th (fulfillment), the child will return when the transiting lagna degree
touches the 5th and 11th significators star and sub in a sign. This rule should not be applied for a
missing son or a person.
13. For theft & recovery: -If the sub lord of the 11th cusp signifies 2nd 6th and 11th house the
lost property will be recovered if the significators of 2nd 6th and 11th of a horary chart agrees
with the Ruling Planets called at the moment of judgment.
14. How about the nature of marital life? It is to be assessed through the 11th cusp sub lords
signification only. Even if the 7th cusp sub lord indicates beneficial results, the 11th cusp sub
lord should not signify the 12th houses to the marital houses.
15. To get a ticket in the elections: - The 11th sub lord should be significator to the 3rd house,
which indicates agreements and permission to go ahead with the elections.
16. INITIATION OF MANTHRA OR MUSIC: -Since both Manthra and Music are divine
subjects, the 11th cusp sub lord should signify the 5th, which indicates manthra and music. It
should signify the 10th for regular practice and also for professional matters, and the 11th for
fulfillment of ones desire and achievement.
17. If the sub lord of the 11th cusp is a significator of houses 2, 5, 7, or 11, there can be perfect
and harmony in married life, provided if the 11th cusp lord is not a significator to the 6th and/or
12th houses.
18. If the 11th cusp sub lord is a significator to 6th and 12th there is cure or recovery from
illness. If the same sub lord is a significator to the 5th and 11th also there can be cure from the
illness.
Foreign Travel periods

When there are adequate prospects in the natal chart for going abroad, the native may undertake
foreign travels during any of the periods mentioned below,
1) Dasa/ bhukti of the 9th lord or the 12th lord, or the planets that are in association with the 12th
lord (by placement or aspect).

2) Dasa/ bhukti of the planets that are associated with Moon

3) Dasa/ bhuktis of Rahu, Venus, or Moon if these planets are in the 12th house.
4) Dasa/ bhuktis of exalted/ debilitated planets in the horoscope.
5) Sub-periods of Ketu and Rahu in the major period of Rahu.
6) Jupiter bhukti in Saturn dasa (if Jupiter owns 12th house)
7) Dasa/ bhukti of the planets associated with the 9th lord.
8) When Saturn in its transit crosses the natal position of Sun.
9) When Jupiter in its transit aspects the 9th or 12th house, or aspects the 9th/ 12th house lords.
10) Foreign journeys are experienced even during sade-sathi.
Directions associated with the journey(especially for western countries like U.S. and Canada)
As direction of the journey is mostly linked with rashis direction:
Rasi which represent the western side are Gemini, libra and aquarius
When the concerned lords and moon are placed in respective houses like 9th, 12th or 4th in these
rashi then chances are more bright that one will go to US or Canada.
Children

9H and 5th house is for children, now in any chart 5th from Jupiter is also
the house of children
Child birth occurs during the conjoined period of 2,5 and 11
Sex Determination
There are certain simple rules that govern the sex determination of the children.
For a male nativity, the first child is determined by the lord of the 5th house from
Saptamsa Lagna, whereas for a female nativity, the first child is determined from
the lord of the 9th house from Saptamsa Lagna.
For a male nativity, subsequent children are determined from the lords of every
3rd house from the fifth, in direct order, i.e. the second child 7th house lord third
child from 9th house lord and fourth child from 11th house lord and so on
whereas, for a female nativity, subsequent children are determined from the
lords of every 3rd house from the ninth, in reverse order. i.e. the second child
from 7th house lord, third child from 5th lord and fourth child from 3rd lord and
so on.

A male child is predicted, if the lord of the child is,

1. placed in an odd sign or, Cancer or Pisces OR
2. exalted or conjoins exalted planets, or
3. conjunct the Sun, Jupiter, Mars or Rahu (considered male planets).
A female child is predicted, if the lord of the child is,
1. Placed in an even sign, Gemini or Aquarius, OR
2. Debilitated or conjoins debilitated planets, or
3. Conjunct the Moon, Venus, Mercury, Ketu (Considered feminine planets) or
Saturn (Napumsaka also)
The sign occupied by the 5th, 7th etc Lords should be treated as the Lagna of
individual children. Take the lord as the Lagna of specific children and predict
fortune as per dasas.
Timing the birth of Children
1. Birth, of children takes place during the dasa of planets having Argala on
Saptamsa Lagnesh.
2. Individual children are predicted during the antardasa of the lord of the child,
its depositor or the lords of the 3rd/8th from the Lagna (as mentioned earlier). In
case of a conflict between the indications of the saptamsa of expectant father
and mother, the results should be predicted from the male horoscope (This rule
has also been proved by genetics wherein it is an established fact that the sex
chromosomes are only determined by the male)
3. Generally, a male child is born in six Rasi comprising the kendra/kona from
Janma Rasi of saptamsa of father, i.e. the Janma Rasi of the son is the 1st, 4th,
5th, 7th, 9th or 10th from saptamsa Rasi of the father.
4. Generally, a female child is born in the remaining six Rasi i.e. 2nd, 3rd, 6th,
8th, 11th, or 12th from the saptamsa moon of the father.
Case 1: Male born on 12 November1934, Cuttack, India
1. 5th Lord in Rasi, Mercury has gained 3 Amsa and is placed with 3 planets. The
native has three children.
2. 5th Lord from Saptamsa Lagna, Mercury, is placed alone in Dhanus. The first
issue is a son who works in a telecommunication company. Since Mercury is in
the 12th from Lagnesh Saturn, he is settled in a foreign country. He was born
during Rahu-Merc-Venus in Vrischik Rasi Kendra to Simha-Saptamsa moon.
3. 7th lord sun is exalted in Mesha. The second issue is also a son who is
employed in the Govt. He was born in Rahu-Merc-Guru in Kumbha Rasi.
4. 9th Lord Venus is exalted in Pisces, and conjoin Ketu. In spite of Ketu the two
other factors predominate and the 3rd issue is also a son involved in the export
of prawns(Ketu). He was born during Rahu dasa Ketu antardasa in Simha Rasi.
Case:2 Male born 7 May1963, 11 a.m. at 25N5, 85 E25.

1. 3 planets aspect the 5th (Rasi drishti) as the 5th Lord in debility gains 7
Navamsa. The native has 3 issues (2 Surviving)
2. Sun, 5th Lord in Saptamsa, is alone in Virgo showing the 1st issue that was
lost few months after conception as the fifth lord going to the sixth house shows
early death of child.
3. Venus, 7th lord is in Kumbha and 2nd pregnancy is a daughter.
4. The 9th lord Jupiter is in Sagittarius, but conjoins debilitated Rahu and
Mercury. Thus the third issue as foretold, is a daughter. [All other astrologers had
said boy as the Dasa was of Jupiter, but the results were different.]
5. The native wanted to try for a son again, but was advised against it since the
11th lord Saturn is alone in Capricorn and, this issue too would be a female.
It maybe noted that from the case histories it will be seen that a conjunction
dominations placement unless the lord is exalted or debilitated.

Progeny in Vedic Astrology

A birth in the family is matter of great joy for everyone. The institution of marriage is created to
protect the unit of family and provide the greatest care to children who will carry forward
humanity on our planet. This article attempts to briefly look at the factors that bestow the
blessings of childbirth to a couple. It is important to analyze the chart of both husband and wife
in order to come to any conclusion.
In Vedic Astrology, the process starts right at the time when charts are matched at the time of
marriage. Afflictions to 7th house and its lord can adversely impact the fertility of a person. Nadi
dosha can lead to conception followed by mishaps like still birth, miscarriages etc. Nadi dosha is
therefore considered a strict no-no for horoscope compatibility. These factors therefore must be
avoided while kundalis are being matched.
What I am not going to discuss in this article is determination of sex of children. It may have
been okay in the past, but in current age and time, it is not right. It is my humble opinion that
couples should not engage in such activities.
The following elements are important from perspective of having children:
a. Naisargika Putrakaraka, i.e. Jupiter.
b. Fifth house and its lord

c. Divisional chart Saptamsha

d. 9th house, by the principle of bhavat bhavam. 9th house is considered to be important
when looking at the horoscope of women.
e. Dasha factors to determine if the currently running dasha is conducive towards
conception.
Any afflictions to these factors or elements would be considered detrimental to the ability of
having children. The usual afflictions come from Saturn, Mars etc., and lords of 6th and 8th
houses. Based on these rules, some of the yogas or combinations that can potentially lead to
childlessness are:

Lord of 5th house in debilitation or positioned in 6th, 8th or 12th house. This yoga should
also applicable to lord of 5th from Sun or Moon.

Malefic influence of Sun and/or Mars on 5th house and its lord. The influence could be
through presence, drishti (aspect) or by hemming the house. These are fiery planets and
they burn away the prospects of having children.

Malefic influence of Saturn and Mercury as these are considered to be impotent planets.

v It is commonly understood that the Lagna of the birth chart signifies the native.

or more of these factors, the chances of problems increase. Please note that for this
method, it is more important to consider the 7H, 8H and 12H with their Lords and
karaka (significator) of 7H (Venus for males and Jupiter for female). Most important if
the lord of 5th, 7th, 8th or 12th is retrograde and if it is malefic and at the same time in
any of these houses (5, 7, 8, 12) then there will be more chances of divorce.
2) Same observations as above will have to be made in the Navamsha chart (D-9)
particularly the good or bad Navamsha positions of the Rashi Lords of 7H, 8H and
12H. So, we should analyse the Navamsha in itself like weve done for the rashi and
also see the Navamsha positions of the rashi lords.

Nakshatras Based Rules:
3) If the Center point (cusp) of the above bhavas (1H, 2H, 4H, 7H, 8H, and 12H),

their karakas are in Nakshatras of malefic planets, especially Ketu and Rahu, then

life will be disturbed. The cusps considered here are according to the Sripathi Bhava
calculations (all Vedic astro softwares should have this option).
4) The Moon does not give good results in Anishtakaal Nakshatras (bad for Moon).

a. The 2nd and 3rd padas of Pushya (6o41 to 13o20 Cancer)
b. Ashlesha (16o41 to 30o00 Cancer)
c. Magha (0o00 to 13o20 Leo)

If the Centre point of 1H, 7H, 8H and 12H is in the above mentioned nakshatras or the
Lords of the 7H, 8H, and 12H and 7H karaka (Venus or Jupiter) are in the above
mentioned nakshatras, this will give disturbance in married life.
The Moon in these Nakshatras will give hardship in life. At the time of birth, if Moon
is
in any of these nakshatras, the birth time is called Anishtakaal (Inauspicious time). To
remove the inauspiciousness of these, Vedic astrology suggests performing particular
religious Pooja.
5) If Venus is in the 1st pada of Ashwini Nakshatra (0o00 to 3o20 Aries) or, if Venus
occupies
Krittika Nakshatra (26o41 Aries to 1000 Taurus), married life will be disturbed.

6) When the 12L is aspecting or conjunct the 7H, or the 7L or 7H karaka or, if the 7L
or its
karaka is in the 12H and afflicted by malefic planet.
7) Ketu or Rahu being in the 7H or any two malefic planets conjunct in the 7H or with

Lord of 7H or its karaka then disturbance in marriage life occurs.
8) Saturn in the 2nd, 8th or 12th house aspected or conjunct with other malefic planets.
9) The Lord of 2H in the 12H or vice versa.

life.
11) Malefic planets afflicting houses 6 and 12 or their lords or karakas of 7H, is one of
the
reasons of divorce (because 6th and 12th houses are for sexual compatibility and bed

12) If the 7th Lord or karaka is placed in the 6, 8 or 12 house or, if the Lord of 6, 8 and
12 is in
7H afflicted by malefic planets, this may also give divorce. If any of these factors are
retrograded, it will also disturb marriage life.
13) In the natives chart, if Venus and Jupiter are in the 6H or 8H from each other, this
gives
disturbance in married life.
14) 7H, 8H, 12H or its lord or karaka(s) of 7H being hemmed in by natural malefic
planets
(called Papakartari yoga) brings afflictions.
If any 3 principles or more apply on a chart, then divorce can be predicted depending
on the
strength of the planet to give effect or not.
Master Principle for Exceptions:
15) If the Lord and/or karakas of houses 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 12 are in an angle house
(kendra) or
in a trine house (trikona) and are aspected by, conjunct with, or hemmed in (Subha
Kartari yoga) by benefic planets, this will protect and save the marriage life. Similarly,
if
benefics occupy, aspect or hem in the above houses, it also proves beneficial.

a. Moon and Venus join together and are strong.

b. 7th lord's Navamsa is debilitated, combust or in enemy's house.

Hora Lagna

The Hora lagna marks the position of the Sun at the time of local sunrise. It moves at a rate of
one sign per hour (Hora), or in other words at a degree per minute (i.e. 30 degrees or one sign
per hour). In order to calculate the Hora lagna, the following steps may be used:
1. Find the time of sunrise and the Sun 's longitude at sunrise.
2. Find the difference between the birth time, or a specific event time, and the sunrise time found
in # 1 above. Convert hours and minutes into minutes.
3. Divide the number by 2 or multiply it by .5, which is the same thing. The result is the
advancement of the Hora lagna since Sunrise, in degrees.
4. Add the Sun's longitude at sunrise, in degrees, to the above number. Expunge multiples of 360
degrees, and reduce the number to the range of 0 - 360 degrees. The result in the degrees and
minutes, will be the Hora lagna.
Example:
Someone was born at 7:23 PM, with the local sunrise at 6:37 AM on the day of birth. At 6:37
AM, the Sun was at 2417 of Capricorn. Determine the Hora lagna as follows:
Birth time 19:23 - local sunrise of 6:37 = 12 hours 46 minutes.
12 hours X 60 (to convert into minutes) = 720 minutes + 46 minutes = 766 minutes
Divide 766 minutes by 2 = 383 degrees.
Add this sum to the Sun's longitude at sunrise, which is 294.17 degrees
383 + 294.17 = 677:17 degrees.
Now expunge 360 degrees. 677:17 - 360 = 317:17 which is 1717' Aquarius.

Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga

Many students of astrology have misunderstood the nature of Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga, a.k.a.
cancellation of debilitation. They have confusion as to whether the Raja Yoga actually happens,
doesnt happen, or only happens in namesake. The reason for this confusion is that every
cancellation of debilitation does not create Raja Yoga. Raja Yogas are only created when
certain other conditions, which I will discuss further, are fulfilled along with the following
conditions as stated by Dr. BV Raman:
I.
1) Lord of the sign occupied by a debilitated planet, placed in a Kendra (angle) from the Lagna
or the Moon.
2) The planet which gets exalted in the sign where a planet is debilitated is in a Kendra from the
Lagna or the Moon.
3) The lord of the exaltation sign of the debilitated planet is posited in a Kendra from the Lagna
or the Moon.

4) A neecha planet exalted in the Navamsa.

5) A debilitated planet being aspected by another debilitated planet.
6) Lord of the Navamsa occupied by a debilitated planet in a Kendra (angle) or trikona (trine);
the ascendant being a movable sign or the lord of the ascendant is in a movable Navamsa.
7) Lord of the Rasi where a planet is debilitated is in a trine from the Lagna or the Moon.
8) The planet that gets exalted in the sign where the planet is debilitated, is in a trine to the lord
of the exaltation sign of the debilitated planet.

9) The lords of the debilitation and exaltation signs are in mutual kendras (angles).
10) A debilitated planet, aspected by the lord of the sign, situated in an auspicious house.
11) Lord of the Rasi in which a planet is debilitated or the lord of the planets exaltation sign, or
the planet who gets exalted there is in a trine from the Lagna or the Moon.

Of the three sections given above, the importance of the yogas may be said to decrease in the
descending order.
As stated, certain other conditions, which are normally overlooked by most students, are
necessary for a Neecha Bhanga to fullfull the requirements of a Raja Yoga. The planet creating
the cancellation should not own, be conjunct or aspected by the rulers of, the 3rd, 6th, 8th or 12th
houses. Furthermore, the rulers of the houses where the Neecha Bhanga is taking place should be
well placed and well aspected. If these requirements are not fulfilled then the Raja Yoga may not
be complete, despite the fact that they may fulfill the rules stated by Dr.B.V. Raman.

I. KSK RULES
1.1. KSK RULE ONE (with two necessary conditions)

Second marriage is indicated if the following two conditions are simultaneously satisfied:
(i) The sub-lord of the 7th cusp is deposited in a dual sign or in the constellation of a planet in or
owning a dual sign or if the sub-lord of the 7th cusp is Mercury; and

(ii) The sub-lord of the 7th cusp is also a signification of either of the houses 2 or 11.
If any of the above two conditions is not satisfied, then second marriage is denied.

Some Laws for Delayed Marriages in Females

The following will be a brief lesson summarizing some of the laws that you should
observe when checking to see the status for marriage delay in a female chart.
1) Jupiter and Saturn are slow moving planets. So, if these planets are
malefically aspecting the 7th house of marriage in a female chart, the
marriage will be delayed.
2) A malefic Saturn in a chart means low points. If a malefic Saturn aspects
the 7th house or the lord of the 7th house, or is situated in the 7th house, it
will delay the marriage.
3) Venus either in conjunction with or in aspect to Saturn or Jupiter will delay
the marriage of the female.
4) A marriage will be delayed i a female chart if Mars is malefically aspected
by Saturn.

5) If Venus is aspected by 10th sight and also has the sight of Mars, the
marriage will be delayed.
6) Rahu in the 8th house can be a cause of delay in marriage and can also
give a child in the Rahu sub period, mostly in the main mahadasa of the
6th lord.
7) Rahu aspecting the 7th lord of marriage, also delays marriage.
8) If the Sun pairs with either Mars or the Moon and Mars has sight of malefic
Saturn, this can delay marriage.
9) Moon in the female chart enhances the effect of delay. If the Moon is in
the 12th house it will enhance the effects of a delayed marriage. More
specifically, if the Moon with Mars is placed in the 12th house and is
aspected by malefic Saturn, it will case much delay in marriage.
10) Mars and Rahu bring about destruction by their very nature if they afflict
either the 7th lord or the 7th house and can cause a delay in marriage. In
this instance, Mars should also be malefic. If Mars is the 6th house lord it is
considered malefic.
11) Saturn aspecting the 7th, 2nd and 11th houses or their lords, can result in a
delayed marriage as it is the natural tendency for Saturn to delay. If it has

less points, it may have benefic sight on these houses and yet there will
still be a delay.
12) If the 7th lord is malefic (meaning with less points) and is afflicted by either
Mars or Saturn, it will delay the marriage. Saturn aspecting all by itself
causes a big delay.
13) If the 2nd lord is afflicted heavily, it delays or deprives one of marriage.
14) If the 7th lord from the Lagna, Moon and the Karaka of marriage or Venus
is afflicted, the female will marry late.
15) Jupiter is said to be malefic when it is the 6th lord or it gets power from the
6th lord. if it is placed in the 3rd, 7th, 11th or 1st house, it can cause a delay if
the 7th house is also afflicted by Saturn. Here, both Jupiter and Saturn
should act at the same time.
16) The effect of Jupiter applies only to female charts. (For male charts,
Jupiter is the karaka for child birth.)
17) Saturn in the 5th delays marriage. Sights from other houses only on the 7th

house do not effect it. It should have sight on either the lords of the 2nd or
the 11th house. (Check the navamsha also)
18) Since Mars rules the sex life in females, the sight of malefic Saturn on
Mars delays marriage. If Saturn is malefic it has less points and when
benefic, it has more points, so the sight of a malefic Saturn becomes
benefic. In other words, if Mars is receiving benefic sight from Saturn, it
may cause delay. But, if the sight of Saturn is malefic, (Saturn casting
more points), it will not effect it.
19) If Venus is in the 10th house from Saturn, and Mars also aspects Venus,
the marriage will be delayed. As an example, Saturn is in the fourth place
from Venus and Mars is in an opposition to Saturn or Venus, or in the 3rd
sight of Saturn. (Mars aspects Venus if it is in the 6th, 7th, or 10th place
from Venus). If Saturn is in the 4th house from Venus, then Mars will be in
the 3rd, 4th or 7th house from Saturn. As per 4 -10 house relationships, if
Venus has more points than Saturn, Saturn will oppose Venus. If Saturn
has less points, it may receive power from Mars situated in 4th place from
it. If Mars has less points, it will increase the power of Saturn by 7th sight.
(Think on this. . . . you will get more information regarding the effects of
other laws later ).

20) In a female chart, Rahu has an important role as it afflicts Mars. If Rahu
aspects Mars, it changes the quality of Mars and may delay the marriage.
In some cases, it may also cause a miscarriage.
21) If Rahu aspects the 7th lord, it also delays the marriage.
22) Rahu situated in the 8th house delays marriage, but can also indicate a
pregnancy in its sub period.
23) If the Sun and Mars are situated in one sign and are aspected by Saturn,
it can delay the marriage. Similarly, Moon and Mars placed in one house
and receiving the sight of Saturn means delay in marriage. (For a male
chart we would consider the sight on Venus (specific case) and one of the
luminaries). The points of Saturn are not considered here, as malefic or
benefic sights both delay the marriage.
24) If Venus and Mars are both in one sign and are aspected by Saturn, it
indicates multiple close relationships with males. The closer the planets
are in degrees, the more frequent the increase in the number of
relationships. If Venus and Mars are further away than 25 degrees
however, it will indicate a lesser degree of interaction in this regard with
males.

Sometimes the parents of the girl may face some difficulties in finding a suitable groom for their
daughter. Identification of the direction and the place of the marriage makes the search of the
groom much easier.
If a persons kundli has Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio in the seventh house (house of marriage)
then the persons life partner may reside at a distance of 70-75 km away from his or her parents
house.
If Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces is in the seventh house ones life partner may live about
120 kms far from his or her parents house.
Similarly, if the seventh house is occupied by Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn then it is quite
possible that his life partner is living at a distance of 200 kms from his parents house.
The direction in which a person will get married depends on the direction of the strongest planet
in the seventh house. If the seventh house has no planets then marriage happens in the direction
of the planet whose aspect is the strongest on this house. If the seventh house is not aspected by
any planet then the seventh house of the Navamsha kundali may be considered for prediction.
Profession of the life partner

If in a person's kundli the lord of the fourth house is placed in the fourth or tenth house then his
life partner will be in service. If the lord of the fourth house is conjunct with the lord of the
kendra house then he will be a businessman.
In these way if lord of the seventh house takes position in the second, fifth, ninth, tenth or
eleventh house or if the lord of the seventh house is any one of Moon, Venus or Mercury then the
life partner may be an entrepreneur.

If there is Sun, Mars or Saturn as the lord of the seventh house and Navamsha contains exalted or
own-planet in it then the individuals life partner is of high ranking profession.

A maraka planet does not kill in its dasha, in the antardasha of a benefic planet related to it. It can
however, kill in the antardasha of an unrelated malefic planet.
Kalasarpa yoga

What is Kaalsarp?
When all the planets are hemmed between Rahu and Ketu i.e., the moon's north node and
the moon's south node Kaalsarp Yoga is formed. Complete Kaalsarp yoga is formed only
when half of the chart is unoccupied by planets. Even if one planet is outside the Rahu
Ketu Axis there is no Kaalsarp Yoga.
Before you do any remedies for the Kaalsarp Yoga make sure that all planets are between
Rahu and Ketu. Even if there is one planet outside the Rahu Ketu axis the Kaalsarp Yoga
does not exist. do not confuse Kaalsarp yoga with Nag/Naga Dosha or Karaka Dosha.
If all the 7 planets are situated between Rahu and Ketu then Kaal Sarp Yog is formed.
Therefore it is essential that such natives should arrange for remedy of Kaal Sarp Yog so
that lucky planets of the horoscope could render favorable results.

Types of Kaalsarp Yoga

When rahu is in the first House and Ketu in the seventh house and the rest of the planets
are left to this axis the Yoga which arises is the Anant Kalsarp Yoga. This is also called as
Vipareeta Kaalsarp Yoga opposite Kaalsarp yoga. Though this yoga has the power to give
windfall gains to the native, it is bad for marital life. Generally natives with this yoga get
married late in life .
Shankachood Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu occupies the ninth house and Ketu is in the 3rd house this yoga operates.
Natives who have this yoga in the chart have many ups and down in life. They have a
habit of speaking lies. They are also short tempered.
Ghatak Kaalsarp Yoga
This yoga arises when rahu is in tenth house and ketu in the fourth house.Litigation
problems are common is this case. Punishment by law or the Government also possible.
However if this yoga operates in a beneficial manner then it has the power to confer the
highest form of political power ,special in Virgo and Leo ascendant.
Kulik Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu occupies the second house and Ketu the eighth house Kulik Kaalsarp Yoga

with natives of this combination. This is bad for financial prosperity too. The native is
worried on account of an insecure financial standing.
Vasuki Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu occupies the third house and Ketu the ninth house and the rest of the planets
are located to the left of the Rahu Ketu axis this yoga is born. The native is burdened with

Shankpal Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu occupies the 4th house and Ketu the 10th this yoga is Formed. The native gets

native has an illegitimate child or can be an illegitimate child. However this yoga also has
the power of conferring high political success and windfall gains.
Padam Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu occupies the fifth house and Ketu the eleventh house this Yoga is formed. The
native is worried on account of children. There is difficulty in getting a progeny. If the
moon is also afflicted then there is the possibility of being troubled by spirits. In this case
if a native falls ill the recovery time is slow. There are also chances of being let down by
friends in this case.
Mahapadam Kaalsarp Yoga
This yoga is formed when rahu is in the 6th house and Ketu is in the twelfth house. The
native has many enemies and has problems on account of diseases. However if this yoga
acts beneficially it has the power to confer power and political success.
Takshak Kaalsarp Yoga
When rahu is in the seventh house and Ketu in the first house this yoga is formed. The
native has got speculative tendencies and can lose wealth by way of wine, women and
gambling. There is marital discord in the life of the native.
Karkotak Kaalsarp Yoga

Vishdhar Kaalsarp Yoga

the Vishdhar Kaalsarp Yoga. The native travels frequently and is never fixed at on place.
Problems also arise from children. However these natives get some peace in the latter
half of their life.
Sheshnag Kaalsarp Yoga
When Rahu occupies the twelfth house and ketu the 6th house this yoga arises. The
native has problems relating to litigation. There are may enemies and health problems.
The Kaalsarp Yoga is not always bad. It has the power to confer gains too.
All planets must be hemmed between rahu and ketu.
Even if one planet is outside the Rahu Ketu axis there is no Kaalsarp Yoga.
Rahu equals moon's north node. Ketu equals moon's south nod.
The Kaal Sarp Yog is of two types- Ascending and Descending. If all the 7 planets are
eaten away by Rahu's mouth then it is Ascending Kaal Sarp Yog. If all planets are
situated in back of Rahu then Descending Kaal Sarp Yog is formed.
If all houses situated between Rahu and Ketu have planets then Kaal Sarp Yog is fully
effective. If Sun or Moon is present with Rahu or Ketu then this yoga is more lethal. If
Rahu, Sun and Moon are all situated together then Grahan Kaal Sarp Yog is formed. This
is 1000 times more powerful. For such a native it is essential to arrange for remedies and
shanti of Kaal Sarp Yog.
If in horoscope all 7 planets are between Rahu and Ketu but partially few planets are
outside the axis of Rahu and Ketu then Partial Kaal Sarp Yog is formed. If only one
planet is outside the axis of Rahu and Ketu then also Partial Kaal Sarp Yog is formed.
The Effects of Kaal Sarp Yog:
The native having Kaal Sarp Yog suffers from mental unrest, hurdles in gain of wealth,
barriers in having children and uninterrupted disputes in married life. Usually the native
sees bad dreams and there is danger of sudden death. Different fears and worries persist.
The native does not get full reward of his talents. Normally the success in work is
delayed. Sudden loss of money or prestige is an indication of this yoga. The native
without any reason suffers from diseases that are not cured by medicine.
The prescribed remedies of Kaal Sarp Yog can give relief from these problems.
According to horoscope whenever the mahadasha or antardasha of Rahu/Ketu comes then

definitely get relief.
Establish Kaal Sarp Faults Removal Yantra in your home and worship it regularly.
Recite "Om Namah Shivay" daily.
Give coal to flowing water (such as a river) on three occasions during auspicious time.
Fix a swastik made of silver at an auspicious time on your main door and on its both sides
fix snake figures made of metal.
Take meals by sitting in your kitchen.
Feed birds for 1 month by barley.
Recite Hanuman Chalisa every day.
Worship a snake made of silver on Nag Panchami; remember your ancestors (pitra) and
give this snake to flowing water (such as a river) or sea with a devoted mind.
Make a snake of silver or eight metals and wear it in your finger.
Recite daily Rahu Kavach, Stotra
Boil pine, mustard and loban (benzoin) in water and take bath with this water (only
once).
Alms for Rahu:
Donate agate, gold, lead, til (sesame) mustard, blue clothes etc.ers, sword, blankets, horse
etc from time to time.
Remedies for Rahu and Ketu Use blue handkerchief, blue watchstrap, blue pen, and iron
ring.
Recite Nav Nag stotra daily for one year.
Wear Nagpaash Yantra at an auspicious time after recitation of mantras.
On every Monday do abhishek (bathe the deity) of Lord Shankar by yogurt by chanting
Har Har Mahadev.
