CORTEN STYLE
Lacier corten est un paradoxe esthtique, mais cest justement ce paradoxe qui le rend
particulirement intressant. La tonalit chromatique intense et changeante de sa couche superficielle,
lui donne un ct chaud et naturel et par ailleurs un ct sobre minimaliste. Cette insolite lgance
ne de la corrosion superficielle, on dit du corten quil sagit dun acier auto patinable, confre ce
matriau une rsistance exceptionnelle au vieillissement, aux agents atmosphriques et au
vandalisme. Il ne ncessite en consquence aucune opration de maintenance. Chaque jour un peu
plus les espaces urbains deviennent plus communicants et porteurs de messages, les objets disposs
sur le domaine publics sont porteurs de codes dclencheurs dattitudes voire de rflexes, qui vont de
la dfiance laccaparement. Cest pour cela que nous avons souhait intgrer ce matriau nos
fabrications, afin de faire profiter les villes des messages de chaleur, de rsistance, de sobrit et de
prennit que porte ce matriau si particulier.

Corten steel is an aesthetical paradox, but it is precisely this paradox that makes it so interesting. The intense and iridescent chromatic tonality
of its surface is warm and natural on one hand, but severe and purist on the other hand. The same unusual elegance, emphasized by the rust,
makes corten steel naturally resistant to aging, atmospheric attacks and vandalistic acts, and therefore it does not require any special
maintenance. Today, urban areas are becoming ever more communicative launching a message, and for this reason we have decided to
exploit the multiple advantages offered by this singular material, dedicating a new productive expression entirely to the realilisation of a whole,
refined and innovative range of Corten steel.

ground fixing with bolts (not supplied) and a seat of three garapa exotic wood slats, each 140x38mm,
fluted with a band of the same type around the edge, fixed to the supports with chip-board screws and
reinforced with squared metal. All corten components are sandblasted and treated with our particular
oxidisation process. Dimensions of the bench are 2076 or 3076x510mm, with the seat 420mm high.

The HARRIS seat with backrest is made up of two or three 8mm thick, corten
steel sheet with base plate prepared for ground fixing with bolts (not
supplied) and a seat of three garapa exotic wood slats, each 140x38mm,
fluted with a band of the same type around the edge, fixed to the supports
with chip-board screws and reinforced with squared metal. The backrest is
made up of two slats, as per the seat, fixed onto two 8mm thick supports.
All corten components are sandblasted and treated with our
particular oxidisation process. Dimensions of the bench are 2076 or
3076x656mm, with the seat 420mm high and backrest 787mm high.

The VOLO seat with backrest, proposed in two length options, either 900 or
1800mm long, is made from one single 8mm thick, laser cut piece of corten
steel sheet for the seat and 6mm thick for the backrest, suitably shaped,
sandblasted and treated with our particular oxidisation process.
The seat and backrest are assembled with screws and cylindrical stainless
steel spacers. The seat comes with a pair of cast aluminium armrests,
polyester powder coated and fixed with turned steel bushes with suitable
screws. Seat height: 435mm, 778mm seat height, 615mm deep.

The BULL bench is made up of two solid supports in corten steel th.
8 mm that are sandblasted and treated with a special oxidation
cycle, shaped according to the design and completed with
wooden armrests fixed with screws that are not visible.
The seat is composed of 3 boards of autoclaved pine or
exotic wood measuring 150x55x2000 mm. It is fixed to the ground
with 4 spacers in satin finished stainless steel by set screws or plugs
(not included). All of the screws are in stainless steel. Maximum
measurements L=2000 mm, H seat 440 mm. Weight 55 kg.

Non standard configuration

The rectangular BAMB planter, available in two length options, either

960mm and 1460mm, with 370 base and 545mm high, is made from
2.5mm thick corten steel sheet, sandblasted and treated with our
particular oxidisation process. The planters have a 5mm thick, brushed
stainless steel base with suitable fixings for slope adjustment. Every
planter can be accessorised, on request, with two or four, 15/10mm
thick stainless steel sheet tiles which can be used as supports for plaques
or labels.

The ASTER planter, of a simple cylindrical form is presented in two different

heights, and is totally made out of corten steel plate thickness 25/10 mm,
sandblasted and treated with a special oxidation cycle. It
has a circular bottom base support made out of satin finished stainless steel th.
6 mm with screws provided for regulating the inclination. Upon request each
flower-box can be provided with two plates in stainless steel sheets th. 15/10 mm
that can be used as a support for name-plates or labels. The measurements are
750 mm with height 700 or 600 mm with height 550 mm.

heights, and is totally made out of corten steel plate thickness 25/10 mm,
sandblasted and treated with a special oxidation cycle,
with a square base support on the bottom made out of satin finished stainless
steel th. 6 mm with screws provided for regulating the inclination. Upon request
each flower-box can be provided with two or four plates in stainless steel sheets
th. 15/10 mm that can be used as a support for name-plates or labels. The
measurements are 750x750 mm with height 700 or 550x550 mm with height
550 mm.

The PITOCCA planter, in a classical conical-trunk form comes in two

different heights, and is totally made out of corten steel plate thickness
25/10 mm, sandblasted and treated with a special oxidation cycle
developed. It has a circular bottom base support made out of
satin finished stainless steel th. 5 mm with screws provided for regulating the
inclination. Upon request each flower-box can be provided with two plates
in stainless steel sheets th. 1 mm that can be used as a support for nameplates or labels. The measurements are 940 with height 665 mm, or
850 mm with height 370 mm.

The fountains of the FUENTE series are made out of a structure of stainless steel corten tube, sandblasted and treated with a s pecial oxidation cycle,
available in either rectangular or elliptical sections 100x200 mm, height 990mm with a rectangular base plate 290x140x6 mm
and upper cap in sheet metal. The nickel coated brass tap is of the push
button type and has a spring return that is normally closed. It is screwed to a
1/2 coupling and connected to a stainless steel tube with a threaded
terminal for connecting it to the water system. The structure is fixed by four
screws to the base of the tank, which is made out of hot galvanized stainless
steel sheets, and varnished with P.P. powders. Measurements 296x890 mm
and depth 102 mm.
It has an outlet and overfill tube of 40mm. On the back of the tank there is
a slit for connecting the supply tube. The trapdoor, which can be removed for
cleaning the tank, measures 740x290 mm and th. 5 mm, and is made out of
satin finished stainless steel. Weight 22, 28 or 26 kg.

The CUBE bollard is made entirely out of corten steel sheets thickness
30/10 mm, sandblasted and treated with a special oxidation cycle,
and provided on the bottom with a square supporting base in satin
finished stainless steel th. 3 mm. The shape and measurements of the
dissuader also make it usable as a seat. All of the screws are in
stainless steel. Measurements 400x400 mm, height 400.
